Great value for a plastic faucet. Description category lists it as metal. It operates smoothly but would not hold up to children or Grizzly bears.

Faucet Leaks Constantly!!! Appearance ok. Cheap made. Faucet feels like it will break just turning from left to right side during regular use.If you don't use it at all, then it would be ok.

The hot water squeaks everything it's turned on but the faucet works great

You get what you pay for, but do not be fooled by the advertising. This faucet is the furthest thing you can get from stainless steel - it might have one or two fittings that are actually metal.Granted, we purchased this for a cheap, quick fix. However, the faucet is MOSTLY plastic and is not sturdy, or durable, in any sense of the word - for example, simply pushing the faucet from one side of the sink to the other resulted in the faucet bending and creaking in a way that always made me scared I was about to break it off.Last week, the faucet started leaking pretty heavily, causing it to drip hot water non-stop. I went out and got some o-rings, and proceeded to replace any “possibly problematic” o-rings. However, once I put everything back together again, and turned the water on, there was no resistance left in the handles of the faucet. Despite both handles being in the off position, it just poured both hot and cold water through the faucet as if the handles were turned wide open.In conclusion, if you need a quick cheap faucet this product will suffice for a short period of time. However, I highly suggest you start looking for a quality faucet before this one breaks and leaves you stranded once more.

I was under the impression the entire thing was stainless steel. But only the spout is stainless steel. The rest is plastic with a metallic coating. The ring that attaches the spout to the base came off twice after I hand screwed it on. Therefore, I used a pipe wrench to gently tighten it (the ring is also plastic and may break if too much force is used). I got this about 2 and a half months ago, and it's still holding up after tightening the ring around the spout.

Easier to do the dishes in my kitchen sink now and fill tall containers like spaghetti pot with this goose necked spigot
