To be honest I always used whatever random item I could for sculpting, never had a dedicated set like this. I needed better but even basic wooden tools cost way too much in stores out here.This is a great set. I was looking for just the blue rubber/silicone tip ones as I have never seen them in stores before and came across this package and it was too good to pass up on.They are sturdy tools. The rubber/silicone tipped ones are great for smoothing and shaping, the metal tools have a good weight to them, not what I was expecting. Very good quality.The wooden tools are pretty standard and are what you expect from them as well.Two of the 4 black plastic tools have a pattern on the other end (a star and wavy lines).I could have bought a set for a few bucks less and only gotten half the goodies that are in this one, and this set comes with a really nice case to keep everything in.Quite happy with my purchase!

I purchased this set to be used with sculpting paper mache clay. The utensils with the soft plastic tips come apart in your hands while you are working. The tip falls into the barrel, or the barrel pops off on it's own. The metal ball stylists work well, as does the other utensils included - but none are quality enough to justify the price of this set. I feel I wasted my money on this product.

Wow. A nice felt zipper bag, stylus balls made of solid metal and a set of silicone shapers at this price... It is just an impressive and heavy set of this type of tool. And the larger ball ends didn't have bad casting seams... Worth more than I paid! Buy it you will be pleased.

The silicone tools are the worst of them. They're very cheaply made and will fall apart with any real use. The metal and wood tools are okay, but the rest is pretty much just trash. Save your money and invest in some high quality tools.

This is a wonderful set of sculpting tools! Very easy to use, for the beginner or professional. A little bit of everything & a great value. The quality is more than I anticipated, as well. The blue set has weight to it, which was an unexpected bonus. I would certainly recommended!

I got these in about half of them have broken already after one month of use. The price is good but the quality is low.

It has been only a few days and it is already breaking apart ..

Its good for its price, but theres always some flaws. Like cheap paint brushes some of the items might fall apart, but in can easily be glued back. My favorite ones are the ball point ones which are sturdy.
