I needed chain that was strong enough to safely hold ID Cases/Badges/Credentials as well as small to medium size waterproof stash containers so they can be worn around the neck.No fear of this chain breaking as happened previously with lighter weight chains, causing important "things" to be lost.You get one big 10 feet long loop that can be cut to the lengths you need plus 12 connectors.IDs, Credentials, Badges and Stash are all safe from being lost because a chain broke. Highly recommended!

Look at the mechanism of the shade that the chain goes into (it's called a "clutch"). Is it "RollEase" brand? Then don't use this chain. (Many different brands of sun shades use RollEase parts, so be sure to check.)The chain appears to work at first, but the beads are just slightly spaced apart too much. Mine worked for about a year, and then suddenly it started to get harder and harder to open/close the shades. Turns out the chain was slipping through the teeth of the clutch and cracking them.RollEase is a good brand, so I don't fault the manufacturer of my shades. I do fault myself for not triple checking that the chain was precisely right for this. Thankfully it was easy to replace just the clutches, I didn't have to replace the entire shade.If your chain breaks, contact the manufacturer of your shades for replacement parts!Four stars however because otherwise, this product is just ok, as long as you are not using them for sun shades that use RollEase clutches. It's not the highest quality, but not the lowest either -- considering the price.

We bought this to replace a broken one and this works great. It came quickly, fit perfectly, and matches the other three pull chains. Wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.

This is the second chain of the same size i bought from a different vendor. The first chain I bought was from a different seller and didn’t even last one week. This chain is a one continuous big loop. You have to cut this size which I prefer. I use this to pull a 8ft wide window shade. So far it’s holding up after 2months of daily use.

Works like a charm in our upstairs beach house.
