It's exactly as pictured. Really cute and good quality.
Great quality! Was a gift for a friend who travels in his RV and has a cute little wood stove it fits perfectly on!Didn't fill it to fill it out will boil over as there is no whistle to sound when it's ready. The handle starts cool for quick pouring.

Heafty cast-iron teapot that I'd highly recommend.
I purchased this tea pot after deciding to step up my tea game. After doing some research, this was the mid-range pricefor an introductory pot and seemed like the perfect place to start my journey. It was packaged very well and came in perfect condition. The pot itself is cast iron and has a bit of weight to it. The color was stunning and it simply felt like a quality product. I boiled my first brew on my gas stove on low. The entire pot heats up very well, with the handle remaining cool to the touch. I then put my loose leaf tea in the basket and let it brew for 5 minutes off the heat. The first pour was a surprisingly solid steam and didn't spill a drop. I came back for my 2nd cup 30 minutes later and the tea was still perfectly warm!Clean up was easy enough. The only thing slightly annoying was my hand not fitting in the pot well to reach all the wet spots to dry, so I had to leave it out. Like any other cast iron product, it does run the risk of rusting if not properly handled. However, if you take care of it, I predict a long life span for this pot.For the money, I think this was an amazing buy. It'd also make a great gift for anyone who likes tea, as the weight of the product definitely makes it feel more expensive than it is. I'd highly recommend this product.

Solidly built and attractive tea pot. Not ideal for humidifying.
Great little teapot. Will definitely boil on a regular wood stove. If you are using this as a way to humidify, I doubt any kettle would work unless you’re wood stove and living stove is very small. I can only maintain humidity with a 1 gallon open top pot on the stove. That’s running the regency f2500 in a large open area (400ftsq room connected to open kitchen/dining area). For tea, I don’t see why not? I don’t use it for that. Watch for rust, though.

Tippy Tea Pot
Beautiful, efficient, great weight but make sure your stove top will accommodate it. My gas burner stove they way it is designed the bottom of the tea pot was too small.

Love this kettle
I bought this two months ago, have used it at least once every day since then, and it is working wonderfully so far. If it stays in good condition for a full year, I will update this to a five star rating.Overall I love this kettle, although I would not recommend it to everyone simply based on individual needs. If you have busy, chaotic mornings or you need your tea prepared as quickly as possible, an electric kettle will be better for you. If you are making more than two cups of tea at once, you will need a larger kettle. But if you are looking for something simple, beautiful, and quiet to lend some calm to your routine, I would definitely recommend this. Most electric kettles can boil a cup of water in about 3 minutes, whereas this takes about 4.5-5 minutes on my stovetop, depending on the starting temp of my water. To me, an extra couple of minutes is not a big deal since I usually spend it prepping breakfast anyways. The first time I used it, I timed how long it took to boil a cup, and now I set a timer whenever I turn the stove on. This makes for a much quieter experience than a whistle kettle, and I also don’t overboil the water nearly as often anymore. It’s also quieter than the electric kettles I’ve used, which can get pretty noisy when heating up.As far as care goes, I would closely follow the instructions that come with the package. Do not use high heat on this, even if you are feeling impatient. On my stove, I use a little less than medium heat, and I make sure that the flame is not reaching past the edge of the bottom—this is the most important part! Also, follow the guidelines for the max amount of water you can boil at once! I think this is about 2 cups of water. Even though the kettle can hold around 3 cups, that’s more for use as a teapot. I only use filtered water, and about once a week or so I will boil vinegar water to clean the interior. Also, immediately after using it, I remove the lid and set it aside to let any leftover water evaporate. This should be done with pretty much any metal kettle in order to keep it clean and rust-free.In conclusion, this is perfect for a quiet cup of tea. I find that I enjoy the tea making process more since switching from an electric kettle, which means I am drinking tea more often.
