Tipi Toe Women's 3 Pairs Ragg Marled Ribbed over the calf / knee high Wool-Blend Boot Socks

Trying these socks on, straight out of the package, I was pleased. They fit well, seemed to be good quality. However, after washing these socks just once, they now will not stay up for more than a few minutes. They immediately start falling down and even sliding right off my foot if I don't have shoes on. Totally useless after the first wash. Disappointing.

I bought the six pack of these socks after Christmas when the temperatures dropped below zero and stayed there for ten days. I wanted socks that were wool/wool blend and knee high, and the colorful ragg style of these socks caught my eye. I am 5' 3" and have size 8 feet. These socks are a bit loose, but not uncomfortably so. They pull up almost over my knee if I pull tight. They are warmer than my cotton socks, but I still deal with cold sweaty feet. I don't know why, the only time my feet sweat is in the winter when I'm cold, and that makes it harder to get warm. These aren't the warmest wool that I've worn, but they are an improvement over cotton. And they aren't itchy!I had these socks for three weeks, and have washed them three times in the washing machine with other laundry, but I always hang them to dry. I don't think they would last very long if they were dried every time they were washed. I wear them with my Keen boots outside, and then Dansko shoes inside. Already they are piling in the heel where they rub. Every night I have to clean my toes out because of the lint they leave behind and I've pulled occasional balls of lint off the outside.Overall they are cute, functional and easy to care for. I don't regret buying them. Great knee highs!

These socks are really comfortable and warm! I have big calves so I wasn't sure if they would be too tight, especially around the top. They are very soft, not scratchy. I bought them because they were recommended by The Strategist. I also recommend them. I'm going to order more colors!

These are nice and warm but only come up to the middle of my calf. (I'm 5'10). They slide down and get bunched up in my rain boots, but I suspect around the house or in regular shoes they would be able to bunch up around my ankle and be fine.

It has kept me warm while snowmobiling and skiing in Jackson Hole WY. The only problem is the SHEDDING! I have tiny black specs all over everything I touch now. Other than that it is very soft and warm

socks are 30% wool, rest synthetics; do not appear to be 'ragg marled' as described. arrived today - it's bitterly cold and they help some. higher wool content would do more. fit nicely; can machine wash and dry. some spandex in fiber composition, so they should hold shape too. got the burgundy/navy/charcoal trio and colors are good - as shown.

I really like these. The colors aren't too extreme for the workplace and they're really comfy.Problem is, the boots I wanted to wear them in still eat them, so I can't wear them with those boots. :(Also, they do tend to embed patterns in my legs while I wear them, so they aren't tight enough to tolerate my winter boots, but are tight enough to pressure my skin. Eh.Still, I wear them regularly since I got them, and it lets me wear warmer socks with my thinner boots now, so there's that.

I've never had a sock actually be really baggy out of the package. Really weird. Definitely not suited to wear. I was going to say not suited to wear with boots but actually, not suited to any shoe or barefoot for that matter.

I love these socks and they are great for nursing shoes. Very soft and comfortable.

These socks are super soft and fit over my extra-large calves. They also STAY UP! So I'd love to give a higher rating, but they shed and pull from the first wash and wear.

Good quality boot socks. Not too thick or too thin, so comfortable to wear with rain boots or dressier ones. Very reasonable price. Would buy again!
