blaster only no darts, clip, or battery

It's a recolor
The obvious differences are the color and different clip along with the darts. The Rayven Stinger is nearly identical to the Elite Rayven. The performance differences that I could find are that the motors are a little bit quieter, they rev up a little bit faster, and the trigger requires less effort to pull. However, all of these differences are very, very minor. The darts are just simple recolors. I haven't noticed any performance difference in them.I would have said that this would be a budget alternative Rayven, considering how I got this for $20.99 on amazon, but the price for the Elite Rayven was $18.00 a few days ago. The lowest price I could find for the Stinger was at $17, but I couldn't access that at the time. This Rayven is by no means bad, but feels redundantIt feels like the Gear up Series or the White-out Series of Nerf guns that used to be in stores a few years ago.If you already have an Elite Rayven, then you aren't missing out too much. If you have never purchased a Rayven, then this would be good alternative if the price wasn't completely backwards.

Different color, same awesome Elite performance
I have to say that the NERF Rayven is one of my favorite blasters. The original N-Strike version done in green was, at the time, a great blaster to use. It did, however, have some annoying traits. The worst of which was the very heavy and less-than-smooth trigger pull (but this could be expected given the bullpup design which necessitates the use of a lengthy trigger draw bar). Sometimes the trigger failed to reset thus requiring that it be pulled forward so the next round could be fired. The green Rayven was also a bit prone to jamming (which was ameliorated somewhat by being able to clear jams via the large access door). When darts fed smoothly, the range that it got with orange Streamline darts was just okay. But, knowing all of these quirks, and practicing suitable work-arounds to said issues, the green Rayven was quite fun to shoot. Especially when using the glow-in-the-dark darts and the Firefly magazine.Fast forward to the release of the blue & white N-Strike Elite Rayven. Not only did this version have an improved Firefly magazine (brighter LED's to better charge the glow-in-the-dark darts), the Elite Rayven pretty much addressed the shortcomings of the original green Rayven. The trigger pull was lightened and made to have a much, much smoother feel, plus it always resets for the next shot. I have yet to experience a single jam! And with the new Elite Clip-System darts, the range is vastly improved. All of these improvements can be said of this latest version of the blaster, the N-Strike Elite Rayven Stinger, since it's the same blaster only with a yellow & black coloring (oh, and a 12 round, non-Firefly magazine). The only complaint I have with the Stinger (and it's a very, very tiny one) is that the blaster I received is lacking black paint on the "Rayven CS-12" label, the "N-Strike Elite" emblem, and the "NERF" logo on the left side of the blaster. But other than that, it performs as brilliantly as the blue & white Elite Rayven. As a bonus, the new Elite Universal Suction Darts work shockingly well in both of the Elite Rayvens. These darts have a differently shaped, and slightly heavier, tip than the regular Elite Clip-System darts, but they feed with 100% reliability thru magazine-fed NERF guns. They do have a decreased range, but this is more than compensated for by their being WAY more accurate than the Elite CS darts! (Given a choice, I'll always go with being able to accurately hit nearby targets over missing targets at farther distances.)So if you're deciding on which Rayven to buy, definitely avoid the original green version (there are still some of those for sale here and there). Do buy either the blue & white Elite Rayven or the yellow & black Elite Rayven Stinger (or, do as I have and collect all three). The main difference being if you want the Firefly magazine + glow darts, or you can do without that feature. Otherwise, they both work great and are a lot of fun to shoot.

Cool Nerf Gun
The motor sounds like a jet engine.Shooting range is comparable to manual guns.Double button trigger leads to jams.My son removed the interlock of the double button trigger and it does not jam anymore and shoot very fast

It jams.
It's fun but it jams a lot. This takes away from the fun when you have to stop and clear the jams!!!!

Great

good deal, decent product
Darts only fit certain nerf guns, and don't whistle as loud or as much as I'd hoped. But, they fire great in the guns they fit, and the nephew loves em. Would have given at least 4 stars had they fit other guns too. The price and delivery was good though
