REED THIS FOR SUCCESS!
The first cutter sucks (step #1), so it you have another set of wire cutters to start you out, use those. The second cutter works great (step 2-6) and gives you the two cuts you need. READ THIS or it won't work. You have to follow step 7 on the written instructions and move those little wire whiskers back. If you don't the white part of the wire won't set flush as seen in the picture of step #9. Now for the crimping tool. I didn't understand what this was supposed to do at first but it compresses the blue plastic part to slide into the silver sleeve. It's like 4 mini snaps on the blue part to become flush with the silver part. If it doesn't stay put your issue is step 7-9 as that white part must be flush or almost flush as shown in pic #9. Good luck.

Nice Tools!
I was, many years ago a commtech level 4. These tools are better than the ones that my former employer supplied. The coax stripper is good to strip coax from RG59 to RG11 and works very well. The compression tool is nice and heavy, and can attach compression fittings on RG6 or RG11. I'm very happy with my purchase. I doubt that I will ever have to buy them again. These will last a lifetime if they are taken care of. The fittings and barrel connectors are a nice bonus.

Great for MoCA
While we've since bought a home, our previous apartment had Coax running from the living room to a bedroom above the hallway. Since it was an old place, it wasn't built with cable TV in mind.We had Verizon FiOS at that place which doesn't use Coax for internet-only service, but my son set up two MikroTik access points connected to Hitron MoCA adapters, and this tool was used to terminate the Coax.

Easy fix
Very easy to use. We were having trouble with some cables and these did the trick. Would definitely buy again if they were needed. Arrived right on time.

Tool is good, connectors are not
I have installed hundreds of this type F connector without difficulty. But the cable pulls out of the F connectors supplied. Wasted several hours trying to make this work.

Be sure to insert cable all the way into the connector before crimping, or it's ruined if crimped.
The Male connectors are "one-shoot" design. If you don't have the cable inserted all the way & crimp it, the connector is garbage and will have to be replaced & re-done.Soft new cable works better than hard old cable.Kit came with 11 male connectors & 9 female instead of 10/10$41 kit price divided by 10 connectors equals $8 per cable so this is not an "economy" scheme. Each cable requires two connector ends. Don't expect this to be a speedy process. It takes several time consuming steps to make just one cable. The cutting tool blades do not appear to be replaceable so once it goes dull, the tool is garbage. None of the strategies with this kit are cost driven or cost effective.
