CHPOWER CR10s Hotend, CR-10 hotend Assembly, MK8 Extruder Original Replacement for CR10/ CR-10S/ CR-10S400/ CR-10S500-12V 40W

I bought this product because the Ender 3 v2 wasn't heating the filament properly. I had to watch a few tutorials to install it, as the cables have to be installed correctly for it to work properly. After replacing it, the quality of my prints has improved considerably.

I first purchased a more expensive hotend from another company and the heating element did not work. I almost gave up on my printer but decided to try this cheaper hotend and it works great so far!

My original Ender 3 hotend got damaged after a clog, so I bought this as a replacement. It works perfectly, and I've gotten great prints since installing it.One of the wires comes with a connector on the end (the other doesn't), but rather than trying to run the new wires all the way to the board and dealing with that hassle, I cut the wires and attached them to the wires that ran to the original hotend. They worked great, with no issues. Very happy with this purchase.

This an MK8, NOT an MK10. I would not have paid the extra $$ for another MK8 (but too much hassle to return so I'll keep as a spare for parts). Identical to the original Creality hotend except using a silicone cover vice kapton wrap. Mine is also missing the set screw in the heatsink. I should have trusted the pictures over the description, and I will definitely be wary of (probably just avoid) CHPOWER products in the future. NOTE: This comes with the wrong connectors for Ender-5

I kept having issues where my printhead would fill up with plastic, coming from the top of the heater block. Turns out the inner throat tube which goes down the heat sink must be screwed in further than it was. You should not be able to screw the nozzle all the way into the heater block, if you can, you must lower the throat tube by rotating the heatsink a few turns. This replacement had philips screws instead of hex, so doing this was a bit simpler. 4 stars because the white wires for the thermistor didn't have a plug connector on the end, so I had to strip them and solder to the old wires. No big deal, just a little extra hassle.So far prints are coming out great with no leaking/issues. Will see how holds up over time.

I love the read and just the way itIs put together my only dislike in which it doesn’t matter where you purchase it or who makes it is the thermo sensor is very fragile

works great. next time i need one i think i will invest in a direct drive but for what i'm doing now, this was perfect.

My hot end thermister broke and was stuck inside I got this replaced the whole thing my printer has never worked better I am getting amazing quality prints
