Great budget DAC, well worth a try.
First off I want to say that this is not a technical review, there are many, many technical reviews of the D10 and comparisons online. This is my opinion of the general day to day use.The D10 is a well constructed aluminium box, the connections feel sturdy and the LED display isn't too bright or glaring. It sits well with the rest of my audio equipment and doesnt look out of place at all.The Topping D10 is a fantastic DAC for the money, and performs well. Especially given the price.I have been using the D10 for about 6 months now and have encountered no problems. There is a really nice clarity to the D10, the seperation between the bass, mids and treble is fantastic. The bass is deep but not booming, or overpowering, the mids are melodic, really nice, and the highs are crisp and clear. It is not a vinyl listening experience by any means, but there is something about the precision and clarity of the D10 that is almost captivating. There is no volume control on the D10, so it's either software controlled, or use the volume on your Amp or speakers. I really don't find this a problem, and is only a minor niggle that I have no problems living with.I havn't encountered any problems as far as file format or streaming audio. DSD works using ALSA, streaming audio sources play fine to.The D10 has required no maintainance so far, after the initial setup on my laptop it has worked flawlessly. It has been completely hassle free for the time I have owned it.I have seen reviews where people have said about interference or clipping, I have not encountered this. I did have a ground loop between my laptop and amplifier, which manifested itself in the form of very low, but still audible beeps and squeeks, but this was rectified by using a double sheilded power supply to my laptop.I would recommend the D10 for its build quality, sound quality and easy of use.

Very compact and convenient
I bought the D10 from SHENZHEN AUDIO, fulfilled by amazon. The DAC works very well both for PCM and DSD i.e. DoP in flac container. Mine has the analogue outputs connected to a headphone amplifier and the coaxial output to a full digital amplifier which drives a pair of loudspeakers. The D10 supports simultaneous output to analogue and to digital up to 24-bit/192kHz. Higher bit depth/sample rates are output via analogue only.My D10 is attached to an Orange Pi One, a tiny single board computer, which acts as a UPnP renderer. Before purchase I had some concern that the Orange Pi's single USB 2.0 port might not be standards compliant enough to offer adequate and stable power to the D10 but in fact it works perfectly.I listen with HiFiMan planar magnetic headphones and am 100% satisfied with the analogue output of the D10. The digital pass through allows me to easily switch between speakers and headphones or even use both at the same time. Perfection would be if the USB to SPDIF conversion supported all sample rates and bit depths but in practice it doesn't matter too much as DSD can easily be converted to 24-bit 88.2/176.4kHz files and I certainly can't hear a difference.

Great value DAC, zero hassle on Windows 10 - Great.
I paired this with a JDS Labs Atom and a pair of Sennheiser HD 595s streaming songs from Qobuz and the sound is fantastic.Windows 10 picked up the AMP with no issues and no driver-hell which was nice. I was up and running with zero hassle.

Great bargain
I often doubted that a DAC would improve on my sound card, but it definitely does - and the perfect way to connect audio files to my old analogue system. The sound is good, there is no need for software (except possibly certain HiRes audio players?) The build is solid, the connections firm, the appearance simple but okay, only a little more literature might have been useful.

Bought this to use with a raspberry pi as a pulseaudio network sink. Works out of the box. Have it plugged into my Teac amp. It sounds identical to the burr brown DAC in this amp. I wanted the Topping so I don't loose the audio sink when I power down my amp. It's USB powered from the pi and I'm really impressed how transparent this DAC sounds vs some other pi DAC HATs I bought before this. It even exposes the hardware volume control capabilities so you don't loose bit depth on volume control. Very impressive little device. Does not even get warm to the touch.

Huge improvement over even the best onboard audio solutions.
In my computer I use an ROG motherboard from Asus, these use a much better onboard audio solution than you'd typically get with other motherboards, but it still has absolutely no compare to the improvement brought with this DAC.I was previously using the analogue outs from my motherboard to a Marantz stereo receiver driving a pair of Tannoy Mercury V4's and a 150w powered subwoofer, the sound wasn't horrible or distorted, but it lacked a lot of range and some punch was missing from the bass. After switching over to this DAC outputting to the same Marantz receiver I noticed the difference immediately, fuller bass, clearer mid range and highs, the detail increase being the most exciting part, this DAC will truly stretch it's legs when you listen to high resolution audio files but even with normal uncompressed CD quality, the instruments sound much more like real instruments (I say this as a musician of many years with experience listening to a wide variety of instruments up close)A great purchase, didn't expect nearly this quality for under £100

Amazing piece of kit
What a great little piece of kit. I bought this for my man cave to run from laptop to Sony amp, the Topping booted up when plugged in, the drivers loaded and away we went. The quality and value for money is amazing. A big thumbs up for me. Five stars all day long

Brilliant DAC for £50
Very nice DAC . Neutral sound. Tried it on highest setting (Windows 10 OS) but my Spotify app didn’t like that…strangely Spotify in the browser was OK. Lowered the setting to 32 bit 44.1 kHz and Spotify app was happy.
