Could you use this to line a plant pot to retain moisture in the soil?

That's what I used it for to line a box to make it into a planter. You do need to put drainage holes in though otherwise your plants can become waterlogged.

Is this food safe? Looking to use it for a liner for a raised vegetable bed.

I hope so as that's what I used it for, it is really good quality stuff I lined sleepers and my wooden planters with it. Cheers happy gardening.

I am using it to cover mound of earth and grass in the garden it appeared to stop any rain etc however when you say water proof that I think depends on what your application is Mr David
