If you like to cook big batches of soups, meats, casseroles etc. to have left-overs to serve in the next week so you don't have to cook as often, these BPA free FreezerWare containers are ideal. For empty nesters, they are great if you are used to cooking for a family and now cook for two. You have enough left over to freeze for a meal later in the week or month. Or, if you're travelling, and want to leave some food for a partner who doesn't like to cook, you can leave meals for them. It's great to have these in the freezer on a night when you don't want to cook and have soup, taco meat, spaghetti and meatballs, casseroles, and other dishes ready to go. Of course, I read that one woman when she didn't want to cook, used to get out a yucky looking green casserole that when her husband saw it thawing on the countertop would suggest that they go out to dinner at a restaurant that night. These containers are well made and stackable for saving space. Lids lock together for storing.

I make my own ice cream and these containers work wonderfully. I needed containers that could be refrigerated and these fit the bill.

Best Storage Containers ever. Durable & don't leak or break if dropped out of the freezer. Stack well, lids work good and theylast a long time.

Worked perfectly for what we purchased them for. After cleaning out our stand-up freezer to make room for meal prep type foods, we needed decent sized, stackable containers. So many of the meal prep, freezer containers are shallow and not enough size for serving 3 people. These are the perfect size. When we use them, we do add a layer of plastic wrap right on top of the food after a partial freeze, for added protection. So far everything has frozen fine with no problems. We have frozen stuffed peppers, soups, spaghetti sauce, and other types of feezable foods. As a side note, we have not used these for heating in the microwave so there is no feedback on that.

Worth a little extra cost because they are true to the statement that they don't crack when frozen. I got talked into making about 4 gallons of home made ice cream for a luau, and they held up very well.

You put food in them. You put them in the freezer. You take them out. You thaw out the food. You eat it. You don't get sick and die. You use them again. They also hold food and other stuff that does not need to go in the freezer. They are not cute. They are not cuddly. They did not bring me closer the the force that holds the universe together.

I have these for a couple years and I love them. Easy to store and easy to clean

This is my 2nd year using these for freezer storage of my hearty soups. I am a single person who does batch cooking, so I need quite a few containers. While I don’t eat out of them, I have had to defrost in the Microwave. They get washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher and so far I have had no problems with them. They are a great size for single or couples depending on what is being stored.

I like the Glad freezer containers because you can seal up your food and place it straight into the freezer. The other thing like it that you can re-use them again.
