Adhesive Spray, 8 Ounces, Clear

I've been a fan of Eclectic Products for years given their AMAZING GOOP which is a wonderful product. My need for their E600 spray involved replacing torn Kraft paper on insulation in my attic. While the traditional contact sprays are more powerful and quicker to grab ( and a little less messy- E600 DOES drip) than the E600 the key benefit is low or no odor. The secret to attaching it lies in it's formulation of LATEX. Did you ever have custom latex paint made at a big box store and the attendant dabs a bit on the cover and dries it with a hair dryer ? That's the secret with E600. Attach whatever your cementing and then use a hair dryer on low ( or even high) speed and watch the glue attach quickly. Works great !!

I've loved E6000 for over 20 years. I expected to love this product, especially with its low-odor feature (and it is indeed very low-odor, really only smelling faintly of latex, no irritating fumes). I need to glue a couple of magnetic-rubber-backed weekly planners to masonite. This adhesive spray says it's for use on rubber, paper, cardboard, and wood, so it should be exactly what I need. NOPE! First, while I LOVE the fact that it's a finger-pump spray instead of aerosol, the spray comes out in a weird pattern of two thick, slightly-spreading jets instead of a nice even cone. I had to do a lot of turning of my hand and the board to make sure I got enough glue around the edges of the masked area, and the glue was in splotches instead of a fine coating. Then the glue absolutely disappeared--absorbed into the masonite--so that 15 seconds after spraying it on, the material didn't even look wet and had no tack to it at all. And this is in a humid environment. So I sprayed it onto the magnetic rubber backs of the planners instead, making sure to get plenty around the edges, especially the corners. One corner absolutely would not stay down once the planners were positioned, so I weighted it during drying. When I finally tested the bond, the planners easily peeled right up with no sign of the glue behind them. I can only assume it once again sank straight into the masonite, leaving no trace for bonding. Guess I'll be using double-sided tape after all. And I'll be returning this bottle of disappointment and regret.

This is not a strong adhesive. Performance is very similar to Elmer’s school glue, just in a spray format. It’s water-based, so the bond is fairly weak and not suitable for anything that needs real holding power. It can work fine for small home crafts, paper, or light materials, but don’t expect a permanent or heavy-duty bond. The drying time is very slow, which makes projects take longer than expected. Overall, it’s usable for light craft work, but if you need strength or faster drying, you’ll want a different adhesive.

Its a good glue if you can keep pressure on the items for a extended period of time. Due to this it may not work well on oddly shaped items. It's not very tacky or sticky when wet. Over spray is very easy to clean up. The nozzle does get clogged so watch what you do after the bottle sits for a long time.

Worked good on our crafts

I've always used the E6000 glue for all kinds of things, so when I needed to stick a faux leather fabric to a pressed board for a rocking chair seat, I saw this spray E6000 and wanted to try it. The spray is thin, but it dried fast and very well. I will be using it for other projects!

Buscaba un adhesivo tipo spray Mount, con una pulverización muy finapara pegar papel sin que se note nada. Esto es una cola blanca metida en un bote de spray como los de colonia... No sirve para trabajos finos y no se me ocurre para qué puedo necesitar una pulverización gruesa. Como cosa positiva: Pegar, pega bien y no huele nada
