It does a good job of absorbing moisture. It’s expensive, though. I like it better than the same brand of loose granules that you pour into the cup that comes with it because of the chance that it (and the water) can tip over and make a mess.

We had mysterious mold growing on the floor of our car, so we put these bags in for 2 months and the mold went away! Never thought of using this for that application, but it worked, with the bag collecting a ton of moisture and water over time. The mold hasn’t come back. I’m satisfied with the performance of this product and would definitely purchase again.

Year after year I'm supposed to keep my windows closed because I have allergies and you're not supposed to open your windows are there allergies look at worse and the humidity will come in and make dust mite allergy worse. But what do I do? As soon as it's warm I open the windows. Why do I do that? I don't know I just hate being cooped up inside and I'm a human being and I'm quite fallible. So I saw that by hanging leaves in the closet in the bathroom in the laundry room of my apartment to absorb excess humidity out of the air and they work great. I haven't really had a mold problem since and that's good because I'm allergic to mold to lucky me. These works so great I just keep ordering them every year I even keep one in my closet which I think is a good idea. It's very satisfied when they fill up with water and then you feel like yeah it's working and yeah I can make good decisions and yeah I'm the best decision maker in the world! So if you need a little boost to your ego and you have some humidity that you want out of the air these are very good. The only downside is that they look like they should be in a children's room cuz they have this dinky girly pattern on them which I don't appreciate now what they should do is offer different colors of solid colors on the back and then people could color coordinate them to wherever they hang them or somebody has to create some kind of a cozy for these things so you can drop them in the Cozy and they will be so visible or the you can say that it's art when your neighbors visit and they want to know what the hell that thing is. Okay well that's my review they work very very well and I don't think my allergies are better because of them but that's my fault I do still feel quite virtuous for buying them and having them fill up with water or whatever that chemical is they fill up with and then when they're done they just throw them away even though this is probably bad for global warming and very sorry to the planet everybody please accept my apology. That's it

We live in a basement apartment so there’s always extra moisture that needs to be dealt with, we love the hanging style Damp Rid product, we use it in all the closets, and hang behind some of the furniture especially in the bedroom which has wall to wall carpet, also use the tablet style in the bathroom area, it’s amazing how much moisture is pulled out and how quickly, the fragrance is a bit strong when package is first opened but scent is pleasant, we find the cost is reasonable when compared to running electric dehumidifier

These work great and so glad you can get fragrance free.Only problem is that they are often unavailable...

My towels didn't dry very well after showers and I noticed that plastic lotion containers on my vanity were moist. We have a ceiling fan but it didn't take care of the moisture. This item captured the moisture and everything is dry now. I will always have one hanging in my bathroom

I can’t say enough bout this stuff ! I have a damp garage and utility room ! My furnace kept going out and since I’ve been using the bags it’s been fine. Saved me money !!!

I've spent a lot of money on electric dehumidifiers that don't absorb nearly the amount of water as this does. And, those take power and often overheat. This doesn't.I live in a partial basement and hang these in every closet. We haven't had mold growth sent. A great, cost-effective approach. I like purchasing the scent-free ones so it doesn't compete with the smell of the candles I like to light.
