Perfect for the job I use these for a model engineering Lathe and only turn up to around 40 mm bar max and down to about 0,5 mm

Can't grumble at the tools, gpod enough and quality but don't bother with the kit. Just spend money on single indexable tools as and when you need them

The 6mm tools will fit nicely on to my Emco Unimat SL lathe, I am new to metal work and I don’t expect them to last a lifetime, but for the money they seem good value, and I am not afraid of knackering them.Delivery was very quick - and it seemed care had been taken to package the item well, because the wooden box they came in was in perfect condition.

Tools brought for new lathe

Not good at all. Only one or two are really usable out-of-the-box. Most have poorly fitted cutting edges where the tip of the cutting edge is actually FURTHER away from the piece being turned than the tool metal below it (incorrect angle overhang). It needs to be re-ground so that the cutting edge can properly touch the piece being turned. Avoid!

The tools are well made and sturdy however they had not been factory sharpened and are not ready for service out of the box. Sharpening tungsten tips at the correct angles in the home workshop is not eazy. Don't waste your money.
