Love this game, great expansion
We love this game and think this is a really great and easy expansion. Adds another level of fun without complicating the game too much. We have other expansions that just add too many steps but this isn’t one of them.

Another excellent Caracassonne expansion
Another great expansion pack for the Carcassonne main game. Bridges allow roads to continue over grass fields, castles make small towns more valuable, and the bazaars allow players to "bid" on tiles. All the new rules are super simple and easy to learn, the bazaar rules were the most complicated but after a couple tries we had it mastered! If you love Carcassonne as much as we do, you can't go wrong with this addition to your game!

Fun game, not a thrill festival, but enjoyable
Fun game. Pretty addicting. The basic game gets a little boring after a few runs, I'd recommend picking up an expansion to make it a little more complex. The Castles one is fun.

Great expansion for a great game
This expansion is great, but I'd recommend other expansions before this one, like the count, king, and robber, which adds a lot more content to the game. I think it's good for folks who already own most of the expansions though.

Worthwhile expansion
The bridges give players a chance to place tiles they wouldn't ordinarily be able to place. The castles add more opportunities to score points and add to the farmer/barn point total as well so players have to be very strategic in their placement. We actually give each player an extra meeple because of the castles. We don't use the bazaars (we ignore them on the tiles) because we usually play with a small number of people and our games are long enough as it is.
