Project turned out fine.
I made several lapboards for my iPad, 9"x11", with PlastiDip coating so that the tablet does not slide around on my lap. First, cut from 1/4" finished ply and rounded the corners, then Kilz to seal, then a coat of this primer, then 3 coats of PlastiDip rubber coating. There is enough "grab" that the lapboard does not slide on my pants, and the tablet does not slide on the board, and the board is large enough to be stable and comfortable.

Prep is critical. Used on my Polaris razor plastics. Worked great. Looked great. Note...make sure you clean to spotless before applying.

The Plasti Dip isn't coming off as easily as it did without the primer
I used this under some clear matte Plasti Dip on the grip panels for a handgun. The Plasti Dip isn't coming off as easily as it did without the primer, but it is still coming off. I don't know if I should have sprayed this or the Plasti Dip on thicker or what, so YMMV.

Use this on my spare wheel
Use this on my spare wheel before painting with plasti dip and also did another wheel without using this and I could not tell the difference so I'm not sure this is really necessary as long as you clean the surface properly

the product is good if you are able to apply it successfully, constant issues with droplets when spraying, coverage very poor requiring endless coatings and patience

I used this on a soft plastic ski mask. It didn't work. It stayed tacky even after 24 hours. Dont buy.
