F-BER Suitcase Luggage Wheels Replacement Kit - OD40-64mm Wheels, ABEC 608zz, Set of 2

The wheels on my lightly used rolling luggage dried out and crumbled away. I was sick about it because I love the luggage. I was so happy to find these wheels which were an exact size replacement. They arrived quickly. We used the original axel with the new wheels. There were several Youtube videos we watched just to give us the confidence to tackle this project. I think these wheels will last a lot longer than the luggage originals. SO happy with this purchase!

I bought these F-ber suitcase Luggage Wheels Replacement to fix a wheeled duffel bag whose wheels had worn down to basically the plastic hubs. I measured my old wheels using a caliper before ordering, and to be honest, these F-ber wheels didn't quite fit as expected. The inner and outer diameters are fine, but the width was a bit odd. I bought 18mm wide wheels and the wheels were actually 18mm wide at the widest point, but take note that the rubber part was only ~14mm wide! The inner race of the bearing is cylindrical and it extends a few mm to either side, which gives the impression that the wheels are too narrow even though they're installed correctly and are functional and stable.For my particular application, I reused the original axles since the ones supplied by F-ber require the use of both hex wrenches to install, and my bag's wheel compartment didn't have enough room on one side. It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish to replace the wheels on my duffel bag, with most of that time spent figuring out how to get to my bag's wheels in the first place. Overall, I think these wheel replacements are a good value, though you really need to pay attention while ordering to make sure you're buying the right size.Note:1) Another reviewer mentioned that these wheels are being falsely advertised as having 608 bearings, and he is absolutely right. Real 608 bearings have an inner diameter of 8mm instead of 6mm, so if your original application used real 608 bearings with 8mm diameter axles, these F-ber wheels will not be suitable.

I've been using these wheels for two months now without any problems. In the past, I've had wheels on rolling bags wear out in a matter of weeks. Because of that, I had spent over $100 for a quality rolling bag. The wheels lasted a LONG time but of course, they eventually wore out. There was nothing wrong with the bag so I decided to try replacing the wheels. I used a hacksaw to cut through the axle of the current wheels. Why not? If I ruin the bag, it's already going to need replacing due to worn out wheels. I read in another review to do this first so you can accurately measure the wheel and accompanying axle BEFORE ordering a replacement set. Very good idea. Hacksawing through the old, broken wheels was the hardest part of replacing them. This set was EASY to assemble and my bag is even quieter when it rolls than with the original wheels. And now, two months of regular use and the wheels are just as sturdy as ever. Very happy with my purchase!

These wheels were exactly what I needed to repair my roller luggage. The size was accurate, all the parts I needed were included, and the instructions were easy to follow.

The F-ber wheels were the right size and width but the center hub was smaller than the hub on my luggage wheels. I could not use these wheels to replace the wheels on my luggage. Not vendors fault had I known the hub size of the replacement wheel and my luggage wheel I would have not purchased the F-ber wheel.

The replacement wheels were easy to install and work well.

My pelican case needed new Wheels and I have purchased these wheels before and they were just fine.

Bought these to replace a medium Samsonite roller suitcase. My dog had chewed up one of the wheels. I cut out the original after removing the wheel housing. This was a perfect fit. Rolls fine. Probably better than the original wheel.
