It's been used in China for probably thousands of years of course and research has shown it does help build back bone density. I woke up the next morning and my esophagus felt irritated and it felt like a pill was stuck in it. I took one more pill with my morning oatmeal and water. There is still no change in the irritation in my esophagus, so I have stopped taking the pills. I’m afraid of doing damage to my esophagus. I was hoping this would be a good alternative to biophosphonates. There were no directions on the bottle on how to take these pills.
