**Q: What parts are plastic on this model?**
A: The plastic (tygon) tubing used to drain the distilled water.
This is a solid, well built machine!
If I were purchasing today, I'd get the unit with the distilled water tank and would have set up an auto fill system. Filling directly to jugs is a pain; we make it work. In the summer we go thru a lot of water, about 3 gallons/day (just the wife and I and we're in our 60's). We're using 3 gallon bottles, 5's are too heavy, and it takes about 6 hours to fill one. 
With the "auto" system I'd never have to worry about it.

**Q: Why NO reviews on this item????**
A: I submitted a review through the particular seller I bought mine through back in 2018. Still works perfectly. Highly recommended.

**Q: Could I use well water?**
A: Yes. Prefilter is recommended though to help maintain boiling chamber (especially if there is a lot of iron in your water.)

**Q: So boiling hot water is going thru a plastic tube to get to your container?**
A: Not "boiling hot water" but steam that is cooled before going to the container. An air cooler, with a fan, is built in to the unit.

Drinking distilled water has tremendous health benefits, please do the research for yourself.I've wanted a distiller for years and finally had the money to buy one, thank you Lord! We use distilled water for our Kuerig and now I'm mixing my own sports drinks. The math was easy, between the bottled water and gallons of distilled we buy, the distiller will pay for itself in less than 18 months.Other reviews have noted the directions were lacking, unusual for an American company, but true. They have added additional instructions that were very helpful filling in the blanks.I wish I'd have spent the extra $300 and gotten the one with the storage tank. As it is, we drain the distilled water into the 3 gallon bottle that goes in the water cooler we got to go with it.AN IMPORTANT NOTE: The 1st time you use it, it will be MUCH slower than subsequent uses. Don't know why, just is.

### ⭐⭐ Missing button to turn the unit on.

I purchased this unit 7/13/2019 & my son-in-law finally got around to assembling it for me last night. Went to put a few gallons of water in it to give it a test run & was surprised to find a 'fan' button but NO button to turn the unit on.
