Quickshoelace - One Handed Shoelace - No Tie Flat Elastic Laces with Metal Tips

I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago to put on my Converse. To give some context: I'm a size 11 in women's and 9 in men's. In the pictures I provide here I'm wearing my year old black Converse I got for Christmas 2016-17. The first thing I noticed after donning the Quick shoe laces is that they began to bleach part of my shoes, turning them white in some parts. I expected the shoe laces themselves to discolor, as any shoe laces do, but I didn't fully expect them to drink the color from where they rubbed against my shoes. That's fine, that's not my biggest worry here.The real reason I'm upset is the fact that after wearing the laces for about a week and a half, the metal pieces holding the laces to the shoe at the end popped off (Photo of right foot). I don't know what time they detached, but I didn't notice until I got home that night. I tried to look around online to see if those were offered separately so that I could purchase a replacement without getting another full pair of laces, but I was not able to find any. As cool as these laces are, it would be nice if they sold some of the smaller metal pieces separate in case something like this happened.Other than that, I really like these laces and I would probably suggest them to friends even though I struggled a little with them. these are fantastic! my boys have some hightop converses which are a pain to get on with regular shoe strings, these solved all of our problems! there are only 2 things keeping this from a 5 star rating: 1. the little "tab" you hold on to to pull the string over "jingles"....it sounds like my kids have bells on their shoes, which is quite annoying. 2. the inside piece of the "stud" gets warped :( it has been digging into my kids leg and he is constantly bleeding because of it

Ok - but don't think that they will last long - they are kind of thin.There are others for sale that are more durable and thicker.

These are so cool.! I bought them for myself, but I think kids would enjoy these that don’t like tying their shoes. I would recommend them.

These are great! Very comfortable, and easy to work with. Love the packaging, too. I got the black ones. My daughter wants some too, and she needs a rose gold color. Hopefully more colors are coming soon!

I have now purchased two sets of these laces. I am a stroke survivor and have lost the use of one arm. I found these simple to fit and size to my shoes. The broad flat elastic used give a smart appearance in my work shoes especially when compared to the narrow elastic used in no tie laces designed for running shoes . The stud and ring locking system look like a fashion design choice rather than a disability adaption. I have worn them through airport scanners without any beeps. Important if getting shoes off and on is a hassle. Spare studs are supplied which comes in handy when you knock one off being out and about. I certainly now have more buying options than the utilitarian Velcro fastening shoes I have worn for the past few years.

Works really well on my daughter's converse style boots. Now they're back out being used rather than 'too difficult to put on'.

Good idea in theory for people who have only use of one side of body / one hand. However, the design means that it’s not possible to open the shoe up very much to get the foot in - particularly with one hand. A lot of stroke survivors have to wear orthotics and it is imposiible to get a foot in with an orthotic on with such a limited shoe opening created by the design of the laces.

great product ........ easy to fit and to use and look great too ........ just a shame about the cut off ends ........dont like to waste them .......... would be nice to either be able to get different lengths, or 'bits' to turn the cut offs into another set?

My dad had a stroke a few moths ago and Lost the use of his right arm. The thing he hated the most having to get other people to tie his shoelaces on his boots. With these laces he can easily do them himself with me had and they have given him a small part of his independence back. His occupational therapist was very interested so we gave her the leaflet.

Fantastic they are so easy to use. I have just had operations on both hands can now sort my own shoes which helps me mentally.

I bought these for my daughters Vans. She was always trying to tuck the laces in so now she doesn’t have to. She loves them and finds them easier to get on and off. Now thinking of getting some for myself. Highly recommended.

Used those laces since 2 years and so practical, for young child, adults and elderly. Exist in lots of fun colours as well.

Seems to be just what I was looking for. One handed shoe lace once it is threaded it’s simple to use.

Ich mag diese "Schnürsenkel". Früher hat mich das Schleife binden immer genervt, vorallem wenn die Bänder bei Regen total nass waren. Das Problem habe ich jetzt nicht mehr.👍

Je ne regrette pas cet achat. Facile à mettre bien que la notice soit en anglais. En plus le lacet est long ce qui permet de bien choisir la longueur dont on a besoin.
