Good tires, I like 'em.+
I needed size 24x10.5-12 to replace the original rear tires on my Cub Cadet GT3200 tractor. The old tires were the original tires that came on the tractor when it was new 19 years ago, and they even have the Cub Cadet brand on them (see photo) You can't get these tires anymore. Then after lots of searching I realized that the whole tire industry has discontinued the size of 24x10.50-12. So I decided to try the size of 24x12-12, which is 1.5" wider tread and the same diameter.BTW in the size numbers, the first number is the OD of the tire, the second number is the tread width and the third number is the rim diameter. The wider tires fit on the original rim OK. So always remember you can go a little wider on the same rim as long as the wider tire still fits in the tractor wheel opening without hitting anything. The Max Auto tires were a few bucks cheaper for a pair than another well known brand. The quality of the Max Auto tire looks fine to me, nice tread and nice sturdy looking tires overall.I am happy to report that the tires I purchased came stacked in a box that fit them naturally. I have seen reviews of other tires where customers showed photos of the tires all scrunched with binding into an unnatural shape in order to make them fit into a smaller shipping box. Then these customers told of how the tires were so distorted in shape from that abusive packaging that they were very difficult to mount. The Max Auto tires mounted easily for me with the tools you see in the photos. I have couple of tire irons, hammer, and the trusty el cheapo Harbor Freight tire machine, which is nice to have but not really needed. I could have mounted them with just the tire irons and hammer alone. The one part of the job that the HF tire machine can make a lot easier for you is breaking the beads on the dismount of the old tires, because this part of the job can be tough without the right tools and technique. The HF machine is cheap and handy so you might want to get something like that if you change tires now & then. You don't really need to bolt the machine to a floor either. I use it standing free with one of my feet on the base to steady it, and the bead breaking operation has the weight of the wheel lying on the base holding it steady while you work so that's not really an issue there. Like I said, the leverage of the HF tool makes the bead breaking go quick and easy. Also used is Eastwood Rust Encapsulator Platinum to coat the rims. (the silver paint product). I use this product a lot. It is very important to deal with any rust on the steel rims before mounting the tubeless tires if you don't want rim leaks down the road. I totally stripped all the old paint and rust off of the rims with rotary wire brush tools, solvent cleaned the metal and applied the Eastwood product to the entire surface of the rim inside and out, paying close attention to the bead seal surface. I did this with a brush because I'm not fussy about the looks. If you are fussy it can be thinned and applied by spray. The coating gives a very smooth hard rust resistant surface to make those beads get a good seal. Then I applied LPS 3 to the tire beads and used it as a lube to install new valves in the rims as well. This product acts as a lube, enhances the seal and helps prevent rust.Seating the beads went easy on one tire but the other one needed the old starting fluid explosion trick. See YouTube for more info on this, lol. This sort of thing can happen at random when mounting any tire, so it has nothing to do with the tire quality. These tires have a max operating pressure rated at 20 psi and the instructions tell you to go up to 36 psi to seat the beads, so I did that. On my tractor which weighs about 500 lbs (plus another 200 lbs with me on it) the tires do not need to be inflated at 20 psi, that is way too much. I air them down to about 8 or 9 psi and that makes the tread contact patch just right without bulging the sidewalls at all. I mowed a couple times with them and they work just fine at that pressure, and the beads are holding good seal. The tires look good on the tractor and seem to be performing well. Overall I say these are good tires, I think you'll like them too.

Replace a set of these with the same ones. There is no better tire for my mower than these. Got 750 hrs on the set. Will buy again.Bill R

Good value
These tires seem as good as the originals on the zero turn mower where they were installed. Also , a day or two after I ordered these , the price dropped and the company did give me the lower price , which I certainly appreciated.

Small ump trailer tires
My only issue was initially one tire was the wrong size size. That's the only reason for the 4 rating. Once my return was logged they got me the correct size tire quickly. Considering their price for 2 tires was the lowest price I found locally for1 tire I'm satisfied. The tires look good, hold air great and have good tread.

Good purchase. Recommend.
Replace OEM 2 ply with these 4 ply due to goathead thorns. Perfect.

Fit
Fit zero turn mower perfectly. Little more tread and grabs more ground when turning than last set of tires. Good tire and fit.

Extra Heavy Duty
These tires are very well made and have a high load capacity, making them ideal for my lawn tractor which is equipped with a heavy front mounted snow blower. The side walls are extra thick. Rim lube, proper tools, and skill is needed to get them mounted. This is a higher priced set of tires but definitely premium quality.
