Q: Does in remove discolouration?

I have used brasso/duraglit for many years, in the services and in civilian life. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It removes discolouration and leaves a bright clear shine. Hope that helps.

Q: Can this be used on an iron Victorian letterbox, I stripped layers of paint off want it to look bit better

If it's a brass letterbox, it will work really well with Brasso, but it isn't a steel or iron polish.

Q: Will this clean up a brass/copper name plate on pets memorial box

I have a number of brass ornaments / brass antiques that I use it for. Brass knobs on my kitchen cabinets and letterbox all get the treatment. They all come with a lovely shine when rubbed over with a duster.
