Mr. Bean: The Animated Series - Volumes 1 & 2 (It's Not Easy Being Bean / Bean There, Done That)

When I bought this series I had never seen it before but I got it for my son. This series was much better than I anticipated. We all loved it. Cartoon Bean is just as hilarious as live Bean. My son was 5 when I got these. He is now 9 and still watches these. I would recommend this series to anyone who has seen Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean or anyone with kids. It's just good, clean British humour. I might be biased because I am a huge fan of British humour.

My children adore this cartoon. I have never been a fan of Mr. Bean myself. He tends to gross me out. I do not have that reaction to the cartoon in any capacity. It is similar in style to the live action show, but animation is a much more comfortable medium for this sense of humor. The animation is also adorably done and the story lines quite funny. We have been watching this animated series for years and my children never seem to tire of it.

At our house, we LOVE Roan Atkinson, and if you do too, this animated series will be a wonderful addition to your family DVD collection. Each episode is like a small encapsulation of one of the 'Mr. Bean' movies.I really like that Atkinson's physical, slap stick humor and vocalizations are so well portrayed in this animated series.It is difficult to stay in a bad mood after watching an episode or two of 'Mr. Bean The Animated Series'. Light and fun, Mr. Bean is a one-man, rubber faced and croaky voiced version of the three stooges!

Being a fan of the Mr. Bean britcom I got this for Christmas. I was really impressed at how well they were done. They got down his mannerisms, and he talks just like in the show (mostly noises and little words here and there). There's the mean old landlady downstairs with her mean old one eyed cat. And as usual, Mr. Bean and Teddy are always getting into trouble. My favorite episodes are his day of Spring Cleaning and him going on a Treasure Hunt. If you like watching Mr. Bean you will love these. I'm glad I got them, they are a great addition to the show. Lastly, watching him dance as the credits roll by is a kick too!

It arrived on time and in excellent condition! It was the last one that I needed to compete my set. Thank you. I cant wait to watch it.

Love mr.Bean but his animated series is even more fun and hilarious.

To be honest I wasn't sure if I would like seeing him in the form of a cartoon, just cause I was so used to watching his other shows, but he's a really funny guy. I would recommend it, although it would have been nicer if they had included more episodes, cause I felt that it was a little short for the amount I paid.
