Royal & Langnickel Aqualon Wisp Fan Artist Brush Set, 5-Piece

i got this on a whim for my students and they enjoyed it so much i had to order my own set! It's fantastic for grass,tree, and fur texture. I can use this for all mediums. the brushes are very thick so really clean them thoroughly.

I'm just beginning to watercolor, I'm still learning. Finding new brushes is always fun. There is a bit of a learning curve to these by they are worth it. I used them to make the rainbow and the trees in the distance.

I'm a mixed media artist and work with textures and mediums to create different effects. I saw these brushes and thought I'd give them a try for some detailed work, like hair or grass.. or just for different effects. Once you get the hang of how to hold the brush (they are fatter than most brushes) and how much paint to apply they work great. I liked them so much I bought them for my sister who is also an artist.

Useful for painting grasses, fur, hair, etc.good quality brushes.

Easy to paint boxes or diamond shapes.

These brushes are wonderful. You can do some special effects when you paint you cant get otherwise. If you are a painter ( I paint in Watercolor) you should have a set.

These aren't the easiest brushes to use to get the "parallel line" effect, if you're a beginner, but they do work. I'm not a huge fan of the brush material itself: it's coarser than I'd like, doesn't hold a lot of paint, tou know, the usual complaints with mediocre quality synthetics. I'd save your money until you're at a more intermediate stage. This is not a "required" brush. No problems with the seller, tho', which is always nice.
