Made moving my dresser a breeze

Had to move my desk so the window could be replaced. It's on a medium-pile rug, been sitting there so long couldn't remember if it might have little feet also. Tried to slide it across the rug bit by bit - definitely little feet on it. Ordered these & got them the day before the work was being done: I was able to lever each side of the desk up and place one of these sliders right on each foot (like a narrow triangle so most of the slider stuck to the underside of the desk). After that it moved/slid like it weighed ten pounds. Slid back onto the carpet with ease after the new window was installed. And I still have a few more sliders for a rainy day. So glad I found these.

I built my own coffee table for in front of my sofa and with the steel legs, bottom wood shelf and glass top it is very heavy. Moving it back and forth on the area wasn't easy at all; so, I need something that would help it slide better with a lot less resistance. I didn't want to be able see anything that I used, and with the legs only being 2" wide I was happy when I came across these sliders that are only 1/2" wide by 4" long. I was concerned that these smaller sliders wouldn't be able the handle the weight of the table; but, those worries were quickly removed as soon as I put them on and pushed the table effortlessly around on the rug. I ended up using 4 sliders on the bottom of each leg (2 side by side towards the front and back), and that's all that was needed for this table. The se adhere incredibly well and work better than I expected.I HIGHLY recommend these!

Loved this was narrow for long metal chair legs. Chair legs were pulling the rug fibers and tearing up my rug. These slides came to the rescue and work perfect for sliding the chair across the rug. No more shredded rug fibers!
