The Middle Game of Go (Ishi Press Go)

I really enjoyed it. Probably good for players approaching dan level ...
Sakata reviews the middle and end game from a few of his matches here, occasionally going over some common middle-game sequences and shapes to help the reader understand. I really enjoyed it. Probably good for players approaching dan level and above (I was 2-dan when I read it).

This book is aimed at the advanced Go player. Not an easy read but still a good Go book.
Although somewhat difficult to read, this book remains a great Go book. It's clearly aimed at the advanced player.I recommend getting familiar with the games discussed in the book before tackling each of the 4 chapters. This will provide some context to the ideas discussed and will make the reading more enjoyable. The details of the game used are provided in the introduction of each chapter. This book is for the dan player, but a low single digit kyu player might enjoy it too. All in all it's a good Go book.

Stampa dubbia, contenuto ottimo.
