Really amazing - super easy
Such a simple concept - and worked incredibly well for me. Installed on a dreadnought sized fender acoustic using a modeling amp with the acoustic settings - sound just jumps out. I was worried it would favor the treble given the placement of the pick-up - no worries. Crisp, balanced and clear. I have a piezo saddle set-up (with pre-amp) I was going to install but couldn't bring myself to cut this guitar up (I've ruined a few....). Glad I used this instead. One caveat - don't think this would fit on a parlor sized bridge. Final note - the company sent me an extra cable so one goes with the guitar case and the other stays by my amp. Couldn't be happier.

A Better Mousetrap
Like most guitarists I've spent too much time and $$ on the elusive shibboleth of Acoustic Tone. Pickup designer Lloyd Baggs once said that though it's often maligned, the undersaddle piezo pickup has been and remains the true go-to workhorse for live music since the 70s. This particular piezo pickup is mounted between the saddle and pins on top of the bridge and it's brilliant and simple. Why didn't anyone think of this before? I use the KNA SG-1 on my Travel-Air VAMD40 travel guitar, the one with the folding neck. It's easy to install with a folding neck -- no loosening or tightening strings. In terms of size, the fingernail file-sized stick plugs in with an unobtrusive, detachable 1/8" cable (included). The other side of the approximately 8' cable has a standard 1/4" jack for a guitar amp or mixer. I really like the fact that the cable is detachable. Very nice glossy finish on the jack's treble side. My only suggestion would be offering it in ebony black in addition to natural wood. Also, I strum aggressively so a right angle away from the sound hole, though it would probably be a bit unsightly, would help me from occasionally brushing my hand up against the pickup. The sound is natural and perfectly balanced. One tip: try turning your eq all the way up and then subtracting to taste. The reason for this is that any potentiometers (knobs) are by nature tone sucks, so this passive pickup to me sounds fullest and richest with all knobs at or near 10. I'm sold!Update 5/9/2019. I'm taking off a star because the logo cap piece came unglued and fell off. This would be excusable for a $35 pickup. As it is, it's overpriced but of course usable.

Easy to use straight out of the box
The pickup is just as described. It fits perfectly on my Martin guitar but there isn't enough room for it on my Epiphone 12 string or my Michael Kelly 6 string. The sound is clear and clean. I've only used it once so far to record onto a laptop and I pleased so far.It does look fragile, but I don't know how to avoid that and have something fit under the strings.

Fine sound, easy to install and remove but too wide for some guitars
I was able to install it on my Goodall RCJ, but the pickup is too wide to fit Larrivee L-09 and Martin M-36. It is too bad because it is not too expensive, it is easy to install and remove, and it sounds fine. Even on my Goodall, it does not lie flat on the bridge, although this does not affect the sound. If they could make it a little smaller, I would buy one for each guitar.

Not worth it, Unless....
The pickup doesn't fit between the bridge and the string pins. You can't even install it correctly. Hums terribly - a real noisy low frequency hum. If you have a contoured saddle, it won't lay flat against it.Overall, perhaps it might work on some guitars, but a total bust on every count for me - and my guitar is not small - just a standard guitar. If that's what you have, don't bother. It'd be a waste of time.

to breakable
This will provide decent sound quality from your acoustic guitar, but the end where the cable plugs in doesn't fit flat on the bridge and it broke. I don't even remember having stressed it in any way. They have other good products, but this one isn't one of them.

Great sound
This sounds as good as my factory installed under bridge piezo pickup on my Yamaha FG800C.I installed it on my solid top mahogany Mitchell, and the sound is very true and realistic... it sounds better than the sound hole pickups, as they get the vibrations from the strings vs. the vibrations from the soundboard and bridge this KNA does. When not in use, I simply leave it on the guitar and it doesn't affect the natural sound at all. Great invention and design, simple and NO drilling into your precious instrument.

fragile pickup. I mean the build quality was weak. It broke before I could even put it in.
Too fragile. Mine broke before I was able to put it in.
