Perfectly minimal cable management
I love the functionality and look of this cable manager! I bought this product to prevent my phone and watch cables from sliding around on my nightstand when I placed my devices on their wireless chargers. I love wireless charging, but I disliked how my devices and cables would always slide around and sometimes fall to the side or behind my nightstand when I would quickly plop them down. This cable manager does exactly the trick, and keeps both chargers in place and close together at all times. The other aspect that I like about this product is that it uses suction instead of glue or tape that could damage the finish on my nightstand. I also didn't like the idea of something I could only place once. I had doubts about the effectiveness of "microsuction." I was pleasantly surprised by both the weight of the device and the suction. The suction makes it feel 3 or 4 times heavier than it really is, and yet it is still easy enough to pick up and move to another corner of my nightstand or use elsewhere in the house—with no damage to the wood underneath! Finally, I am really picky about the aesthetic of a cable manager. (If it's going to make cables look less messy, it better look good doing it!) I go for a clean, minimal look. Even though this is maybe a touch larger than I would've preferred, it has a modern, simple look that doesn't add to the clutter. Exactly what I was looking for. One last thing to note: I'd say this really can only handle 2 medium-sized cords possibly up to 4 if they're very thin in the channels on the underside of the cable manager. So you're not going to be able to organize a rat's nest of tangled wires with this. However, if you have 2-3 essential cables you use on a nightstand or at your desk, this is perfect.

Great for a Specific Purpose
I've bought several Blue Lounge products and just like the others this one fits a very specific needs exceptionally well. It's smaller than I expected, but still big enough to hold two cords securely to my desk. The suction technology is pretty amazing, and it keeps the Sumo securely in place. No other bells and whistles but if you have the need to hold one or two cables in a specific place, then this is a high quality and nice looking answer.

The Sumo is GREAT!
I think I have three of these now and I gave my mom one as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. They work great for keeping iPhone and iPad cables handy where you can reach them. They stick really well and don't leave a residue. Of course the only furniture I've tried them on has been glass or metal, so I can't really speak to wood. They are designed for only two cords, but sometimes I sneak another thin cord or two in there. I do wish they were designed to hold more cords.

Simple and Practical
When I was looking at the Blue Lounge Sumo, I was also looking at the Quirky Cordies. Now, I ended up getting both, and I like each for separate uses, but let me highlight a few things about the Sumo. 1.) It's simple. The logo is cleanly embossed, and the simple design of this piece does not detract from any surrounding decor. It blends into a dark night stand or desk, and it matches up well with electronic components. 2.) It's functional. As others have noted, it's basically a suped-up paperweight; except, instead of holding paper, it holds cables. I use mine for keeping the charging cables for my iPhone 4s and bluetooth headset from sliding off the back of my nightstand, and it takes care of those in a manner that puts it beyond reproach. 3.) It's divided. There are two separate channels, separating whatever two cables you might decide to run under it, which also aid it in retention of a single, smaller, cable, should one choose to have such a setup. 4.) It only has two channels. Those two channels, which I described above, are great for those who only have two cables, and I knew that before buying it. However, if one wished to retain a third, they would run into some issues. That's why I couldn't rate them five stars. If you did need more cables, I'd consider something like the Quirky Cordies I mentioned. This just happens to look a lot cleaner if you are able to keep your cables to two.

I bough two of these and love them. I think they have been discontinued though which is a shame. To begin, they are smaller than I thought they would be, but very solid and dense. The weight is great in and of itself. But, and this is the cool part, the stickiness of the pad underneath is unreal. I pushed with a very strong lateral force and it wouldn't budge so setting it on the edge of your desk means it is going to stay at the edge of our desk. It looks nice too and depending on the surface it is placed on, it almost looks organic. Very much in line with an Apple-type design, IMO. If you need them, get them while they are still available.

Fantastic grip
The suction on this thing is very, very effective on the glossy finish of my desk. I've had to reposition it a few times, and it does collect dirt/dust very easily in that process, but I found that scotch tape works wonders for cleaning the feet off. No marks or adhesive were left behind anytime I moved it. If you need something that can securely hold cables without moving at all, I highly recommend this. For just keeping cables for falling behind the desk I use a Quirky Cordies, but I employ the Sumo for keeping a thicker USB cable up that doesn't flex well and would otherwise cause my portable hard drive to life up on one side.

Too tiny and expensive!
The materials and build quality of this thing are impressive. It feels good and works well. But don't pay more than $10 for it. I wouldn't pay more than $5 if I could go back. Expect to fit no more than 2 or 3 small cables under it. I really wish it was larger.
