Paint Applied To Boat Deck
I used this paint on the deck of my sea fishing boat. The deck appears to be partly covered with a rubberised material which is not completely flat and had wrinkles in many places. In the not too distant past I believe it had been painted with standard floor paint which was already breaking down.In preparation for painting the deck was washed then when dry, the surface was lightly abraded then wiped over with white spirit. I applied two coats of paint by brush and worked it into gaps and wrinkles. It was then left for 7 days to cure as instructed on the tin.The paint was easy to apply and covered well but only time will tell how well it stands up to the sea, weather and use. If it does break down I feel that it would be due to the surface on which it was applied rather than the quality of the paint itself which I would rate as excellent. The first picture above shows the deck after it had been abraded and wiped over with white spirit - The second picture shows 2/3 of the deck after 2 coats had been applied whereas the large panel on the right had only 1 coat applied.

Great for Decking
Colour was great and accurate. Paint covered well and has the desired finish and appearance. Time will tell but I'm very hopeful it will outlast all other attempts to paint / protect our decking and it's definitely non slip even in when very wet. So provided it stays put for at least 2 years we'll be happy and the cost will have been well worth it.

Better than Cuprinol / Ronseal - Hands down!
To put it bluntly - I was fed up of brands like Cuprinol & Ronseal tearing up after only 6 months of light use. Both brands when using as decking paint (even though it was decking paint) used to dry out and crack in the sun leaving it a real mess and in need of constant maintenance.I then saw this Paint which is designed for boat decks mainly, and came in a variety of colours. It was double the price of main stream brands but I though what do I have to lose!It is simply ‘brilliant’!!I applied just one coat on bare bee deck boards in May, then never got time to double coat until end of August. Didn’t matter - the first coat has held rock solid on just that one coat!It has a gritting type texture to the feel which also prevents slipping when wet.I have now applied the second coat and it looks even better. I will be sure to only use this paint going forward on decks when I lay them - and was worth every single penny more.Worth noting - I ordered 2 x 10l pots, to cover the area in the pics, but barely used 1 x 10l for two coats in the end so it goes a long way - you may only need 1 x 10l tin.Great product - looks amazing.

This paint does the job
Painted our very slippy decking with this, and got to say it does do what it’s suppose to do, it is definitely non slip. The only thing why this merits a 3 was because of the price. I first of all bought 5ltr tin, as I thought this would be enough for the whole job. The paint was really thick and does need a lot of stirring , unfortunately this was not enough to complete the decking so I had to buy a second tin and at nearly £50 tin works out rather expensive. The other tin came very quick and on opening it found it to be a lot thinner than the first pot, but did the job none the less. If you can afford it, yes I would definitely recommend this, just wish it was slightly cheaper 🥴

Not hard wearing at all
I used this on my garden decking. I usually use Ronseal rescue paint but find their variety of colours and availability lacking so decided to give this a go.I applied it to clean, dry and sanded wood and it went on great and I was very happy with the coverage and colour, unfortunately I have noticed that with minimal wear, over 5 days it has already started to chip and peel. This is my experience and I’m not expecting anything back from the company though I won’t be using it again and would not recommend this product.

Fab colours and communication
I can’t give five stars as I haven’t used the paint yet. I was advised to wait till the weather was warmer. But I can say TA paint have been amazing at communicating with me for advice on application and colour.I’m sure the paint will be just fine and I’ll update my order with 5 stars.I’d definitely feel comfortable buying more from them.

Decent
Overall I was pretty impressed with this paint. I’m a painter & decorator with 17 years experience so I know a good quality paint when I see one. I had never used this so was a little sceptical at first but this paint does the job.If your painting old decking that’s worn etc I would highly recommend priming before hand but two coats of this on to top and job is a gooden 👍🏻I would also recommend leaving it 5-7 days for 100% cure.
