Light duty, very much so
Works well on my FT-60, but when they say 'light duty' they mean it. If I am careful it should last. Fast shipper, original part.

Good value: great for listening, ok for talking.
This is definitely a light duty item. The ear piece part works great. Good for noisy environments or when you just want to listen to the radio without everyone else in the room hearing.The mic part is not very sensitive. I have to place it right in front of my mouth, almost touching my lips, in order to get a good copy. The mic is on the volume slider so you have to hold it very gently in order to not change volume and have the mic pointing towards your mouth. If I rotate the mic piece a little then the people listening to me can't hear me as well.It plugs into the Yaesu FT-60R nicely and doesn't come out on its on. My only comlaint with the FT-60 is the same port for power and this mic share a rubber flap. This flap makes it difficult to plug both the power and a mic in at the same time.The clip part does a good job of staying put and doesn't pull loose easily. Cord length is good. I keep the radio on the passenger side seat and can comfortably move my head around without having to pull the mic cord taunt.Overall a good mic and value. I will probably pick up a handheld mic at some point.I plan on using this for working events with my local HAM club. They do communications for parades and such.

Wrong model, Not for Yaesu VX-8Gr
This is not a MH-37A4B, but MH-37A4B-1. the Does not fit VZ-8GR. Possibly if I cut off the mounting screws of either side if the plug it might. Package says it is for a Motorola radio.

Perfect!
Searched for an earpiece for my husband's portable radio all over. I finally checked Amazon and found the exact one that goes with his radio. It is perfect! His only complaint is the cord seams to slide down making it tight when he moves his head. We did a little experimenting and found that clipping the cord to his collar seems to alliviate this issue. Sound quality is outstanding!

Good to have backup phone/mic
Great single earphone/mic for use in noisy environments. Light weight construction is reason for lower rating. This is backup to the one that came with the radial.

Excellent Product
I pulled the ear piece out of the box and plugged it into my HT and was in business. It is so convenient not to have to hold my radio as I listen and talk. The reception was clear and adequate. Even in a noisy environment I was able to hear clearly. I would recommend this product to anyone with a Yaesu HT.

I highly recommend it.
This is very handy when using your radio in a noisy area. As a ham, I volunteer at many public service events. This works extremely well with my Yaesu FT60 and ensures that I can communicate in busy outdoor environments. It has also survived cold, wet and otherwise crummy weather. I highly recommend it.
