Works well.. The app is not great and only works with the added bluetooth piece. Doesnt show the battery level just stays the same all of the time. Seems to work ok. Tech support uses an AI bot which is one of the best I have every used, however, getting to a live person is like pulling teeth. Lots of confusion on if it comes with the app or not. It doesnt.

Doesn't work. Period. No matter the current in, there's no output. Lithium nattery came off the converter in the camper at 14.4. as lithium will drop (as do all batteries from charging), to around 13.6. it continued to drop no matter the voltage input. No smart alternator, so no ignition connection. Even when I hooked up my large solar with 19v output the battery continued to drop to 12.8v. NO GOOD!

This is so awesome because of the smart features.I didnt have to do too much other than essentially just connect it to the 2 batteries, it handles the excahnge, no need for an isolator switch or anything else.It is putting out just a hair above the 20 amps claimed from what ive seen and is defintely a nice option to have to help keep my camper van charged while on the go, especially on longer drives or cloudy days, or knowing in a real pinch i could run the van for a mintute to get almost anything done if it was an emergency.The app is fairly easy to use, and the whole set up has to be about as easy as a DC to DC charger can get.The build is great and like most of their products, i have to worries about the longevity of it. It was easy to get it tucked away with the rest of my setup, couldnt be more stoked about this for my van build. I' excited to see the real world difference in my next long road trip, but it should be substanial based off early estimates and how much I drive when road tripping.

I was waiting for this to come out, after the first generation, and my new found love for this company...I am hoping to grow my portfolio of products from Renogy as I find the quality to almost "Apple" like and it always performs.Pros: Build quality, reliability, I trust this thing...from the way it is built to the feel in your hand, I've got confidence that from what I've seen so far (sorry I couldn't get great pictures where I've installed it) that I'll get a lot of mileage out of it. Currently using it with AGM marine dual purpose batteries and doing well and eventually I'll switch over to Lithium or another type of newer battery technology. The included temp sensor is helpful in monitoring the batteries as are the other accessories, sans the lack of not including mobile app device and I'd actually rather just see it built it, although I get that chips and things are running in low supply these days and there's a large use case of users that don't need that tech !Cons: make sure to note that it DOES NOT include the wireless connectivity module and that needs to be purchased separately, I was a bit bummed to see that it wasn't included and then, a discount coupon that would have yielded the price of the module.At any rate, this company has surpassed my expectations and I'm switching over from another well known brand with strong hope that Renogy can solve all my needs, better!Start knock off was for the lack of the bluetooth module for app control
