This is a MUCH better back pack than you think it’s going to be. Lots of space, compartments, rooms for a BIG water bottle and even a bottom zipper for shoes! And it’s even comfortable to wear when it’s full, yes, comfortable!Get it, get one for someone else!

With all the traveling we do since my partner works on the road, and how much I'm working on rebuilding my endurance, I've been looking for a backpack that I can use while exploring each new city where his construction project is located that would also work for a weekend bag when I need to hop a flight home for medical appointments.The more rectangular shape of this allows for efficiently fitting large-size sketchbooks or watercolor pads if I want to take my painting supplies to a coffee shop or for packing a few boxes/cans of food if I'm doing a light grocery run while my partner's at work. The chest strap is great for keeping it on my back if I'm out for a photowalk; that said, the outer surface fabric has more of a satin-smooth feel that makes this much more appropriate as an urban backpack than taking that photowalk in the woods where briars could snag it.As a travel bag, it's pretty sweet, though I definitely need to use a compression packing cube to get more than 2 days' worth of clothing into it with all the medical and lithium-battery items that need to go into the cabin with me, especially if I'm taking the laptop along. Heavy packers might get away with this as a personal item in addition to a carry-on; that may depend on the gate agent and number of tickets sold for the flight, though. I love that all the pockets in this bag allow for keeping everything neatly organized, and the luggage strap lets me slip it over my carry-on's handle!Construction-wise, this seems pretty solid; it uses tough outdoor-type plastic zippers and most of the big stress points have been reinforced with extra stitching. The fabric is thicker than the smooth appearance suggests, and maintains a fairly sleek appearance despite the huge number of pockets contained in this bag. And the bag is fairly easy to wipe clean with a damp rag or sponge; that said, it seems to have cardboard in the back panel, so it's not something that can be tossed in the washer if it gets too dirty, which is a minor con to an otherwise near-perfect bag.

This backpack is really well constructed with durable fabrics and materials. The main fabric is thick while being soft-ish. The padded straps and back area hit all the right spots. The middle back is reinforced with a thin plastic like plate that is flexible and hidden inside the fabric. The peacock blue shade I ordered is beautiful and could be complimentary to both men and women.There are tons of compartments, even a hidden one in the padding under the lumbar area. There is so much detail and thought put into the design that this review would be quite lengthy if I mentioned each and every detail. Inner pockets, outer pockets, side pockets, bottom pockets, straps to hook things to, handles on the top and above the lumbar area. Side straps for some compression if needed.There is a usb port with a cord on one side of the bag. It's USB on both ends so I'm not really sure what I would use it for, but it's a detail worth mentioning.The zipper is plastic but it's a jumbo zipper. It will require time and use for me to determine how well the zipper holds up. That's been the main reason for having to replace my prior back packs. Either the zipper fails or the pulls break and fall off, making it hard to zip or unzip. I hope this jumbo zipper holds up longer because I really like the fabric, features and color of this backpack.

This backpack certainly exceeded all my expectations, especially since it comes at such an affordable price. The moment I opened the package, I knew it was superior in quality to other backpacks I’ve used while traveling, thanks to the durable water-resistant material that can also sustain wear and tear better than similarly-priced backpacks which often have a canvas or cloth feel. This one is thicker and more resilient. In addition, there are zipped pockets galore; it’s easy to separate items including electronics, and the shoe compartment at the base was an added bonus. That would be a great feature for hikers or anyone interested in backpacking through a foreign country. The straps are cozy and protective; their additional padding ensures this backpack can be worn for hours without any discomfort. The carrying capacity is much larger than a standard backpack. It’s even larger than some tote/backpack hybrids I’ve purchased in the past, which is a really impressive feature. There’s a built-in charging port to keep your devices fully charged while in transit. As someone who travels for work and needs a sturdy, reliable backpack with a large carrying capacity, I’m thoroughly satisfied with this item. Exceptional value.

I've been using this backpack almost since the day I received it. I started off using it for the gym. The separate zipper compartment on the bottom of the bag has been great for bringing my running shoes with me to get my cardio done before my workout. I like the separation from my other items because who knows whether those gym floors are actually clean. ha. I recently used this backpack on an extended weekend trip. We fit my smaller MacBook Pro and my boyfriend's large MacBook Pro in the back section. Plenty of room for my cord cases, a gimbal, some clothes, makeup bag... my *only* wish.... that there were some zippers on the small internal pockets to keep things like AirPods from sliding out of the sleeves when I throw the bag on its side in the overhead bin of the plane. Overall, fantastic backpack. The blue color is sooooo pretty.
