WD-40Specialist Rust Release Penetrant Spray, 11 oz, Aerosol Can

Yep, I use a lot of this stuff in my job. Works well

I order the product pictured 2 times and they sent a different version both times. I have had the pictured version in the past and it is phenomenal but what they send is the common version which isn’t bad it’s just not what I ordered.

I have an old truck I’ve been restoring and it’s rusted to its core. Lots of rusted bolts etc…I started out using PB Blaster years ago and not really thrilled with its performance. I stumbled across WD40’s product several years back and I was very impressed with its penetrating properties, so I totally recommend it!Hope you have as good of results that I have had.

First- you will not receive the item as pictured. WD40 “changed the Can appearance” to a new design. They claim it is the same formula, however I am skeptical. The product they send smells different from my old product. Yeah, I know- not very scientific. But if it’s the same formula Let the manufacturer, shouldn’t it smell the same? I’m not convinced it works as well, but how do you do a true comparison, as no two suck fasteners are the same….

Is there anything worse than a rusty bolt, welded on by the age and rust? This spray takes care of that. For the really rusty situations, I usually spray it a few days in a row and by day 4, it's easy.

this product is in my opinion is no better than the reular but it cost a hell of a lot more, wouldn't be suprized if it is the same because it doesn't do what the claim it will do, it was a rip off
