Q: Could you tell me the dimensions of the slots and confirmation of the weight the bracket can take?

I bought brackets for my son and in the current circumstances cannot go and measure up. From memory - concrete posts have two faces and each face has a different size of shoulder around which the bracket sits, the supplier of these brackets sells both sizes. My advice would be to measure your posts and order the correct size. I am unable to guarantee the weight loading but thy are strong if fitted correctly. Hope this helps.

They are fairly strong. I have had trellis on them for almost two years and they haven't moved, even with squirrels using the trellis to climb the fence. I believe that they could be suitable for a small washing line and small pieces of clothing, but perhaps not for a large one used to hang sheets for example.

I have had a look at my previous orders but can't see all. What I can say is that the first ones I ordered were not deep enough from the flange where the panels slot in to the face of my post where the bolted section of the brackets are. the face of my posts are not flat but slightly rounded. If you measure across the face of the post where the panel is and also across the top of the post at its centre and that measurement is greater by 1/2 inch to 3/4 of an inch that is the measurement that maters! I had to order a larger set which did the job for me but that must have been 18 months to 2 years ago now. have a good look at what is on offer and make sure that you get the largest. It is midnight now but if I can respond again in the morning I will, in the meantime good luck as I think you are having the same problem that I found, they are not explicit enough with measurements!
