Twin Cams and A Big Bore Baby Click here for Preview If you are interested in giving your bike more power and increasing your fun factor then this video will put you well on your way. As the old saying goes, "there is no replacement for displacement". Our Big Bore and Twin Cams video will walk you through how to convert your 88 inch Twin Cam to a 95 inch for 1999 to 2006 models or your 96 inch to a 103 inch for 2007 and later models. This video shows how to replace your Cams for all twin Cam models, 1999 to present. The Cam chain tensioners on 1999 to 2006 models are spring operated and typically need to be replaced around the 30,000 to 50,000 mile mark. These tensioners work but they do need to be replaced often. This video will walk you through the process. NOTE...This video does NOT COVER any head work such as valve springs or head porting. Most people don't have the equipment to work on heads. There are some special tools needed to to perform some of the work but if there is a way to not use a special tool we did it. NOTE.... On the old style Cams you will need or access to a press to replace them so you may have to take them to a shop.
