Take a Bow Nothing!
Nothing, Take a bow. Although the look of these headphones is divisive (I love them), the sound is excellent. Best paired with the app though as there is a whole host of customisable EQ that I have easily managed to get Meshuggah and Nick Cave to sound great in equal measure. They really feel like premium, solid and well constructed units. I really like the buttons, which are customisable too. I heard other reviews suggesting that the noise cancellation is not great, but I am finding it superb. The battery life seems impressive, but I am not in a position to testify to that yet.If you are looking for a great, modern, well built headphones that you can tweak to perfection and don't want to spend more than 300 quid then really consider these headphones. I have had the Sony wh1000mx5s for a couple of years and I would say these Nothing Headphones 1s are comparable overall in comfort, build quality and ANC.

Nothing is something
I don't want to ruin something, whatever Nothing has is amazing, starting with ear1 to the headphones. I have them for a few days now, i listen to rock most of the time and whatever i do it sounds like the membrane makes a wierd noise, if i put it in on full Bass is even worst, is like someone is playing a defective drum, any suggestions? In rest, ANC in amazing, sound amazing, design takes people's eyes out of orbit, they are a bit too heavy but all in all they are very good.

Not Terrible
First impressions are good.Box and case design excellent.Cables good and cans are 70% charged out the box.I had though the large round plastic elements you can see on the photos were buttons, but they're not. Limited to buttons on edge, which work very well. No issues yet.Construction appears quite good. Some odd transitions sounds...but quirky.ANC is, as expected, a bit mediocre. The app is quite interesting.I dont find them heavy or at all uncomfortable. Quite a nice feel.Update after a week or so.

Aesthetically pleasing, low sound, heavy headset
Aesthetically pleasing looking headphones with good ANC. Ideal for indoor listening. Outdoors is ok however for me the sound was quite low. Comfortable for short periods of time as they are quite heavy.

Very disappointed. Wait for version 2.
Love the look but I do not care for the performance at all. The ANC, volume, and punchlines of the bass are much better on the Nothing Ear, which came as a bit of a shock. They are also below their competition. My old beats from years ago, outside of the style, blow these out of the water and they were $100 cheaper. The sound _clarity_ is phenomenal, the tunability is otherworldly, but not quite punchy enough for me even with bass boosted to the nines. The out of the box firmware actually allowed the volume to go far beyond bass ability, so the bass sounded terrible above ~80% volume. Software update, though, went ahead and just moved the volume limit down 20%! My point here is that if they raise the volume limit with a software update, that will not improve the depth of the bass, as with the higher limit it exceeds the driver’s capabilities. This can’t be fixed with software. The ANC is low key terrible. I live off a busy street and the traffic is actually more noticeable with these on with ANC on due to the high frequencies that aren’t filtered at all. Makes them more piercing by only giving you the highs.Over all, very disappointed. I had high hopes given the fantastic product that is the Nothing Ear. Hopefully they up their game for the second release.
