Not what I was expecting - it was FAR FAR better!
I enjoy good knives, I have a couple Benchmade knives, ESEE's, Ontario, etc. Some of these $100++ knives came to me horribly ground with a dull edge. I enjoy sharpening, so I took it as a test of my abilities. Not so with the Eafegrow CH3002. This knive arrived in spectacular condition. The fit and finish are simply amazing for a $20 knife. The edge was razor (shaving) sharp, which I actually tested on my arm hair. The edge was "hair popping" sharp. Still, i saw minor, expected machining marks on the edge itself, which I stropped to a mirror finish. Now it's beyond razor sharp and it has held that edge for a week of cutting cardboard, rope and other items. The scales (Jade) are gorgeous. Again, I wasn't expecting much for $20, but I found the finish on them to be very well done, especially in the harder to finish areas. The metal itself was also extremely well finished, resembling the D2 blade on my Enzo Camp knife. Like I said, this thing performs and looks like a knife that is far more expensive.I will be buying more Eafegrow knives for Christmas gifts this year!Positives:1) Fit and finish are spectacular.2) Sharp as a razor.3) Blade is centered and well put together.4) Edge is machined very well as is the rest of the knife and the finish on all metal and plastic parts.5) Frame lock looks like it was polished and fitted to the blade as it has a very positive lockup, but doesn't "stick" when trying to close like my CKRT blades do.6) PRICE PRICE PRICE7) Blade is very robust.Negatives:1) The detent on the knife in the closed position is hard to get through. So when you're flipping it, you have to have a good grip on the knife, it can be hard to get the blade out. (My 76 year old father CANNOT open the knife.) You need to be strong and know how to use a flipper.2) D2 rusts fast. Not the fault of the manufacturer, but you need to be aware and be proactive in caring for the knife. I have one tiny spot on the blade that rusted quickly, probably from sweat as I was using it during a severe heat wave last week.3) Blade is a bit too robust (heavy), but it's almost a 4" blade, so it was expected. Handle is lighter weight, which compensates for the blade.4) No other way to open the blade other than the flipper.5) Marking on the blade is cheap ink. If they are serious about their brand, I would expect them to etch their logo in the future. Still not a deal breaker for me.6) Once you own one, you'll have to buy more! :)

Great knife
I carry it everyday. It holds a sharp edge for a long time, probably better than any knife I have owned. I will buy again if needed.

Wow!
I needed another pocket knife like I needed a nose on my elbow. This was just an itch that I had to scratch and I'm glad that I did. I ordered one of these with the creamy jade handles. It is a beautiful and well crafted knife. The liner lock even has a little comfort contour for your thumb so there is no sharp metal edge to bite you. I mean this is the level of build quality that you just don't see at this price point. The fit and finish are top notch and it opens smoother than ANY folding knife that I have and I have a lot. I've been collecting knives my whole life. I mean this thing is butter smooth and requires very little effort to swing the blade open. At first I thought it was spring assisted, but no, it's just that smooth. My EDC rotation blades are a Spyderco Endura, Cold Steel Ti-Lite and a Benchmade Griptilian. These are all on the larger size for pocket knifes and around the same size as this knife. This knife is heavier, however, than each of those, but not significantly so. If you are used to carrying a larger pocket knife, then you probably wouldn't notice the weight difference. The pocket clip is not adjustable, but it is in the correct spot (tip up carry) for me. There is also a lanyard hole. The liner lock works as expected and locks nice and tight with no slip. The metal frame is skeletonized, probably to save weight. This is an open frame design with no back so that means that if any pocket lint or other debris gets in there, you can simply open the knife and blow it out. The fasteners are Torx screws so you could take the knife apart if you ever needed to. The G10 scales have a light texturing to them so it is easy to keep your grip and they are very comfortable. This knife easily competes with knives that are 3 to 4 times more expensive.Pros:BeautifulHigh Quality - I've never seen anything like this at this price point.D2 SteelSmooth Action - Again, this is the smoothest opening knife that I own. You've got to try it to understand what I mean.Shaving Sharp BladeZero Blade WiggleTight Lock Up - No slip or blade play in mine.Creamy Jade Scales in G10Cons (I'm nitpicking here) :The pocket clip isn't reversible so that may be a con for some people, but not me.Scale edges may be a little sharp for some, but nothing a piece of sandpaper couldn't fix quickly.

Wow!
I just received the knife so Obviously I have not Used it other than examining it for 20 minutes but WOW! I am a Spyderco man and came across this knive while scrolling through knives and stopped at it because of the high reviews as well as the look of the knife. I read the reviews and ordered the knife. Spyderco will probably always be my primary EDC knife but I love this knife. It’s fit, finish, grind and edge seem flawless. It opens very smoothly. I like many others consider most knives from China as cheap...This knife is not cheaply made but rather it is inexpensive! I am already planing on getting at least one more and if my sons like it then probably several more. It is a beautiful well made knife. The only two things I would change would be to make the “flipper” knob a tad longer and beef up the lock scale a tad and mabey skeletonise the scales....but I am nit picking. If I did not have the funds to purchase Spyderco knives this would definitely be my EDC unless use proves otherwise. I know a gem when I see it. I prefer function over form ( I am also a Glock Man ) but I have to say this is a beautiful knife! Gibbs of N.C.I.S. Rule number nine “always” carry a knife”. I am a 29 year Police Officer and my rule is always carry two.... this is my new “back up” knife. P.S. the clip seems solid and is blade up which I prefer.
