CHGRNLF Mac mini M4 SSD 1TB Hard Disk for Mac mini M4

I did not want to continue to be concerned with storage management where the operating system resides and decided to upgrade my MacMini M4 from 256 GB to a 1 TB drive. After watching several videos of the upgrade procedure, I purchased and installed the storage module with no issues. The MacMini performance is much better and I no longer need to be concerned with storage management. 1 TB storage is more than enough for me as I do have several external drives hooked up to my system. So far, everything is working to my satisfaction and will update this review if anything changes.

No issues for me. Make sure that you have another Mac handy to DFU the Mac you're putting this in. There are some sites that say you can use a PC, but when I tried something like that a while ago, it didn't work for me... I had to go to Best Buy and purchase the cheapest open box Mac I could find to restore it. And that worked fine. Just keep in mind the restore on the M4 needs the USB cable to be in the middle... on my Mac M1 Mini (the restoring machine), I put that on the left-most slot. After that, the first one popped a failure, so I retried... and it worked. No issues. Make sure you have a good Time Machine backup before doing this since when you use the DFU option, it will be like a new setup. You can then do the Time Machine restore from the TM backup. After that, I was done in an hour for a 256GB Mac M4 to now be a 1TB Mac M4 for $170

Easy to install.. So far so good and it’s a lot faster than the stock 256. Warranty is only 30 days so I’ll chance it… I’ve done other Mac’s before in the past and never had any issues.

Fast shipping and worked out of the box. Didn’t come with any tools Just the SSD. Gave it 4 start due to not coming with any tools but showing tools in the picture. Will do an update 6 months from now on the reliability.

Día 1. Es una maravilla tener espacio suficiente y no tener que desinstalar aplicaciones para reservar espacio, ahora tengo casi 800gb libres!! Yo no instale el drive, lo hizo mi IT pero según me cuenta, lo más complicado fue tener que usar otro computador para completar la copia de mi SSD de 250GB, ahh y tuvo que actualizar a Tahoe (no lo había hecho antes porque me preocupaba como iban a interactuar mis app de Adobe Cloud, pero trabajan bien). Por el momento y espero que así siga, fue una excelente compra. **Actualización** Me gustaría informar que desde que se hizo la instalación del SSD mi computador esta funcionando muy bien y sólo con ver que tengo suficiente espacio libre, eso es tranquilidad mental. No hago la actualización para promocionar el producto, pero si para informar como me ha ido, porque originalmente me causaba mucha preocupación hacer esta modificación que no me fuera a funcionar o que me dañara el computador.

Viene con las herramientas necesarias para desarmar la Mac mini

Funciona perfecto y facil de instalar. Trae todas las herramientas. Como sugerencia para quien lo compre. Para restarurar en modo DFU, los cables Thunderbolt 3 no sirven. Yo utilicé un USB-C de Apple que viene con el iPad y ademas de restaurarlo desde un Macbook conectado a la corriente y sin ningun otro USB conectado. Sino todos los intentos daban error 4042

J’ai acheté ce SSD 1 To CHGRNLF pour Mac mini M4, et le résultat est excellent. Le kit arrive complet avec tous les outils nécessaires, ce qui permet d’ajouter facilement du stockage sans avoir à passer par un service Apple. L’installation est simple et bien guidée, il suffit d’être minutieux et tout se met en place en une quinzaine de minutes. Côté performance, le gain de vitesse est immédiat : • le Mac démarre beaucoup plus rapidement, • les logiciels lourds (montage vidéo, traitement photo) se lancent sans attente, • aucun bruit, aucune chauffe anormale. 🔻 Petit bémol : pour quelqu’un qui n’a jamais ouvert un Mac, le démontage peut être un peu stressant la première fois — mais le kit est bien pensé et il y a des tutoriels en ligne. ➡️ En résumé : une solution fiable et rapide pour augmenter la capacité du Mac mini M4 à moindre coût, avec d’excellentes performances et un montage accessible même aux non-experts.

Package contained all the pieces as described and swapping out with the original Mac mini M4 was easy, Black Magic disk speed test show: 3000 Mb/s read and 2900 Mb/s write. No long term performance yet, but hope it will last long.

L’articolo è conforme alla descrizione. Nessun problema nel montaggio e nella riconfigurazione. É arrivato nei tempi previsti. Alto il prezzo quindi spero sia affidabile nel tempo. Per il momento mi sento di consigliare il prodotto.
