Q: Will this fit newer AM5? Title says yes but the details don’t mention it.

The Corsair site says yes, and the mounting bracket for AMD is just the four post screws that go into the stock backplate which is identical. The only AM4 coolers that don't work with AM5 are the ones requiring removal of the stock backplate.

Q: can i use liquid metal for thermal cooling ?

Hi, Yes, liquid metal can be used as a thermal interface between your CPU and this CPU water block.

Q: What is the diamater of the pipeing?

I used 14mm pipes. But I’m sure you can use anything between 12-16mm pipes, as long as the connector has G1/4 threading to the CPU Block (in this case the Corsair XC7).

Q: For ryzen 7000, does vertical inlet/outlet orientation matter? the optimal orientation for my distro plate (a corsair xd7 in a 4000d ql) is vertical.

Hi Daniel, It does not matter, you can freely choose how to rotate your block to better match it with your distro plate.
