Good Quality, Comfortable, What's Not to Love?
I love that these give full coverage. They're one of the few pairs that I have found that are this style. They're very comfortable. They don't squeeze too tight or too loose, they have a sort of flexibility to them, and they don't feel cheap at all. They will change the color you see. They're designed for nighttime use, but if I have a headache or my eyes are hurting, I throw these on during the day sometimes for a bit and I honestly think these make a HUGE difference. I have worn them outside before just as an experiment and it's actually kind of cool. I have another pair that's from a different company for daytime use, and I will switch off periodically between these and those. Usually I just use these for nighttime, but I used them for a while as my sole pair and my eyeballs didn't explode or pop out. I believe they don't recommend using them all day because your body actually needs some degree of blue light to maintain balance and hormone levels and stuff out of my pay grade (feel free to do some research). They will change some colors, but not all. You can still see most everything on the computer screen just fine. The only time I really had a problem was when I was sitting there staring at a graph that had a black background and multiple colored graphs (LTspice) and wondering why the graph didn't look like it was supposed to until I lifted up my glasses and realized there was a blue trace on there too 😂 Also once, my external hard drive has this annoyingly intense blue light that flashes when its on and I was wondering why it wasn't on one day, well... you get the picture. They definitely do the job and do them great. I am normally pretty sensitive to all the bright lights. I have things resting on top of various items around my room because of their annoying LEDs everywhere. It's crazy how many things are always shining! If you ever want to test these out, just put them on and look at your stove and microwave light (probably blue like mine). Love them!

A simple, natural way to improve sleep
I'm a PhD clinical psychologist, and virtually 100% of the adults I see in my practice complain about sleep problems these days. My sleep has been somewhat problematic as well for many years. Lately, I've been waking up 5-7 times a night, especially in the summer months when the days are long and the sun isn't setting until later in the evening. I've done research on the subject of sleep, and blue light - such as from sunlight - can be a culprit as to it interfering with natural melatonin (the sleep hormone) production at night. I've been using these glasses for 2-3 hours before bedtime, and waking up just 1-2 times a night, which is a big improvement and it leaves me feeling more rested upon arising. I gave a pair of these glasses to a friend as a gift. She'd been having sleep problems for years. She found them helpful initially, and then drifted away from using them. After a bit she thought she'd try them again, and lo and behold, her sleep has improved. In experimental psychology parlance that's an A-B-A-B design (A=not using, B=using) and it's pretty good proof that something is going on and not just a placebo effect. She's now a true believer too. I should say that there are many factors to pay attention and that the glasses by themselves may not be the insto presto cure people want. You have to also consider how much blue light you're exposing yourself to each night. If you're blasting your eyes with electronic screens which are held close to your eyes, such as reading in bed, that's an issue. How much sunlight are you exposed to in the evening hours. If you're living in the northern latitudes where the sun isn't setting until 9-11 PM and that's when you go to bed, that's another problem. Then there's how much light you have on inside your house. If it's super bright vs. dim lit like some romantic restaurant it's going to make a difference. Plus, the 'temperature' of the bulbs also makes a big difference. 'Cool' and 'natural/daylight' bulbs put out a lot of blue light. 'Warm' bulbs put out considerably less blue. These or any other blue blocker glasses will block X% of blue light, but is that X% of 1000 watts, 1000 or 10 watts that are on inside of your home at night? But as blue blocker glasses go, these do a good job. I tried a different brand that claimed to block some high percentage of 'blue light' but they didn't say what the wavelengths were that were being blocked - my mistake. As soon as I put them on it was obvious it was blocking a very narrow spectrum of blue light given that other shades of blue colored objects inside my house were still looking normal while wearing that other brand. This brand does a good job of blocking a broad spectrum of blue light.

help protect from seizures
My 22 year old son has a brain tumor and seizures. For many years he has chosen to wear very dark sunglasses and a hat to protect himself from fluorescent lights. I don't know what it is about the light, whether it's the flicker, or the blue light, or even just the intensity? Whatever it is, they give him headaches, make his eyes extremely bloodshot, and cause him to have a seizure within around 15-20 minutes if unprotected. His comfort and health obviously are the most important. But, I dislike the dark glasses because they make people uncomfortable. Many people ask if he is blind, lol. Or jump when he talks to them :) I dislike how dark glasses make people socialize with him less. So, when I saw these amber colored blue light reducing glasses, I thought I would give them a try. I love that you can easily see his eyes, making him much more approachable. He wears them everyday, all day. He plays a lot of online chess and is protected from the blue light from the computer screen, which is an added benefit. Also seems to be sleeping better. I'm happy to say that he isn't having headaches, bloodshot eyes, or seizures, thanks to the amber glasses. Success! Whatever is the cause of his fluorescent light sensitivity, these glasses protect him! They are very comfortable. Only issue we have had is the rubber peeled off at one of the tips that goes over your ear. I have contacted the seller to see if they can replace or discount a new pair. Either way, great glasses! Happy with them :) Have had them for 2 months. update: I got a response from the seller. They are sending a replacement, free of charge. They replace defective products for up to a year! How great is that?! Awesome product, awesome seller. update- bought these in 2018 and they just broke. It's now 2024. So, they lasted 6 years, and he wears them everyday. That's amazing. Buying another pair :)

They explain well on the packaging why other blue blockers are a gimmick and give the exact Nm light that these block which are in the blue range... Don't buy stupid 'transparent' blue blockers because they just don't work.... They have to be yellow or amber orange tinted in order to block blue light effectively! These are great and sporty stylish too! You'd look like a bio hacker extravagant with these... Pricing is THE best i have come across on Amazon or anywhere!! Go ahead do yourself a big one and invest in these,, my sleep has improved significantly

This glasses is very good because it has a strong frame that looks slick and also the lens makes the visibility clear and crisp. The glasses look cool and fit well for everyone.
