Solid build, plastic housing
The build quality appears solid. No obvious weak points or pieces that bend out of place.I've tried them with several cables and devices, so far no issues with stability or electrical connections. The micro USB doesn't seat all the way into the female end of the adapter for some cables, leaving a ~1mm gap, but it is making a positive electrical connection.The housing is plastic, but it's quite thick and sturdy. USB-C connectors tend to generate some heat, so a metal housing might be a better option. I'm hoping that won't be an issue.

MAGNificEnT set of adapters that are very useful for avoiding having to buy all new cables.
i use some also with magnetic charging tips. a really useful product also backed by the seller. i had 2 that where missing their incert. the seller shipped replacements within 24 hours & i sent the other ones back. when i need more i know where to get them now without hesitation. thanks again!Don't forget 2 look at my other reviews 4 cool stuff 'sometimes' & tricks & tips with what you can buy on amazon. By far beats buying new cords
For less than $1 each I can continue to use all my old USB cords with micro plugs with my newer devices with USB-C recepticals.

Poor quality.
These adapters were of very low quality and break very easily. The ones i bought from wish for the same price were actually built better.

just the right things for me
We just switch to newer phones with several old type micro USB, adding a small adapter to get them to fit into my newer Samsung 9 and 10 is great. The price and quality of these adapters in a multipack is perfect for us at the right price + zero $ for shipping thanks to prime :-)

Good way to retro fit old micro usb cables.
Used this to retro fit older style USB cable that are still need for the older cell phones. The adapter is a little tight but works.

Was happy to find such a small adapter, but it doesn't work well. My phone recognizes that it isn't from the maker
