OUR FAVORITE TOY-lasts so long
This is our golden retriever's toy! We have owned our first version of this toy for about 2 years. She plays serious tug with it every day and chews on it often. It has lasted so long. We have a second more recent dog who destroys all toys. He chews on this constantly but does not destroy it. It has finally started to come apart a bit. It is great for tug with us or if they want to play tug with each other. They love the texture for chewing. We will always be restocking this toy in our house.

An Honest Review by Brandon
Who loves them little fur babies? I know I do! Anyone else's fur babies have that lovely "I have to much energy disorder and love to chew on things till they are disintegrated?" Yup, same here. How about those power chewers, bully products are like baby toys? Yup me too!Ever get a roped tug of war with those strands all braided or swirled around together and your little destructive minions turn it into teeth floss? Yup, right there with you.OK, so when it comes down to it, this beats ropes on quite a few levels.1- Getting the tid bits of this in their system after wrestling is better than string. You ever see what happens when string and the number 2 mix together looks like? Yeah it is not fun and very disturbing.2- This material is stronger than threads, what all the ropes are made of. This means rather than having something that lasts a whopping 15 minutes, my little minions will have fun for a couple weeks.3- Most important, if anyone tells you anything is power chewer approved, pit bull approved, and will last, they are selling lies. How do I know? 4 Pits, 1 Doberman, 1 Rot. I can tell you about power chewers and nothing commercially stands up. Get a real tire if you want some to last more than a couple weeks at most. Why do i tell you this? Well, every toy I get I know is not going to last. However, I would rather my little furies to enjoy something for a couple weeks instead of mere minutes. That is real power chewer approved!Paws out!

Great chew toy.
Great dog toy. Material is soft and chewy. Nice soft rubber for dog's teeth. The dogs love playing tug-a-war with it.

It broke, twice
My choco lab puppy (8 mos) absolutely LOVED this toy, insisted on a tug of war game with me every single morning, and would terrorize my Texas Heeler with it. Whenever I was giving the heeler attention, the lab would run into the room waving this around like a maniac to draw the heeler away from the affection hehehHe is quite the aggressive chewer, and ripped it in 2 spots after one month. So I had to toss it for safety reasons. He missed it so much!!I finally caved and got him a second one and his eyes lit up like a kid at Christmas when he saw it!! Two weeks later, it was ripped. So I cut it in half thinking he could at least still play with half of it. But no, he tore choke sized chunks off within minutes. Soooooo... No more tug toy.Five stars for how much he loved it, but it doesn't last long enough to earn 5 stars unfortunately.

Very strong but flexible
This was the tug we needed. Rottweiler puppy likes to sink her teeth in and grip and this allows her to do that and gives me my own section which helps avoid her biting me by accident. She is 90lbs at age 9 months and we tug with this and it still looks new.

Indestructible
I have a 3 year old pitty that manages to destroy toys with in hours of getting them. Not this one!’ It’s been several weeks and there’s no sign of damage. It keeps him occupied for hours and has become one of his favorite toys. Light weight and durable!

Holds up to a lot of tug of war sessions
My dogs love to use this for tug of war all the time. It's held up really well with both of them!

Great, durable toy, but 2nd one seems weaker than 1st
We had one of these before and it was the fave of our oldest boy. He was very tough on chew toys too, but it lasted a couple years. Very stretchy for how lightweight and durable it is. But we eventually had to toss the original and got a new one for Christmas. Still very stretchy and durable in that sense, but our new puppy (not quite a year old yet) was able to make small nicks in it. We also got a Kong throwing disc that she killed on day 1. Up to this point Kong has been our go-to and most promoted brand to our puppy friends, but recent experiences have been subpar.

Super tough
My malamute loves this toy. Super durable and she plays everyday with it. She will play tug with us or just play on her own with it. Highly recommend for power chewers. Great tug toy and keeps her entertained

Resistente

Consigliatissimo!!!

Works for Toy killer GSD for 1 yr-ish
Confused by the spread of other reviews - maybe some batches are better than others? I'm v, v, limited on toys that survive my GSD, and you need to be fairly solid to play tug with him. This is often an annual purchase - but it gets good usage! He rips up most toys. My niece and nephew will sit on cardboard and let my boy drag them about the house with this! The 3 I have had have lasted nearly a year, well used, and lasted better than the harder ones I used to get. TBH, when it does go, he has only ever swallowed a little bit and it came out the other end just fine, it doesn't break with sharp edges! Maybe individual to your buddy, but for mine this is great. After a lot of expense, there are v few toys I can get my adorable destructive git, and this is one!
