Easy to use
This was perfect for leveling a garden box that was about two inches lower on one side! It was driving me nuts, looks much better now.

Not all fittings are the same
Fitting didn't match my other porta power. However my other one was harbor freight. But other than that, no complaints.

Great tool to have on the bench.
Great quality and superfast delivery. Needed to jack up a marine engine to remove/replace motor mounts. Low profile fit perfectly in the tight space and was easily able to micro adjust the height. Great Tool to have on the bench!

Good Value
I'm no guru when it comes to porta-power stuff, but I've used a few. First thing is first, I wish there was a case of some sort. I know that would ad cost, but I think it would be worth it. This thing is very application specific. The included ram's .43" stroke doesn't get you far, but when you need it, you need it. This thing is made in China and uses Chinese fittings. So, if you have an American ram, you might not be able to connect to this. This thing pumped right up on the first try smoothly went back down. I didn't have 10 tons to lift, but it had no problem with a few thousand pounds. Build quality seems OK, I've heard of people pushing the threads out of these things. So, take that into consideration when comparing to name brand units. Still, this is perfect for the occasional user like me. For the price, it's a good value. With the pump, it opens a world of other rams to be used.

Quarter inch at a time, height is laughable
YATOINTO 5 Ton Low Profile Hydraulic Cylinder JackA jack like this can be really handy if you need to lift something, and dont have a lot of room to get a regular jack under it. The problem is, that this model only lifts about a quarter inch higher than its collapsed height, it would take forever, and a lot of blocking to get anything high enough for a regular jack. I ordered this thinking that the raised height would be slightly less than double the collapsed height, but boy was I wrong! It is very well made, and I guess the ram could be swapped out to a higher lift one, but I cannot recommend this jack in good faith, unless you know of a specific use case.

Lifts anything from 1 3/4" up to 2 1/4" high. Yup just a half inch. Thats it.
Lifts 10T a mere half inch very well.If you have need to lift 10T only ONE HALF an inch, this tool works well for the job. Is has spring retraction as soon as you release the pressure on the hand powered device. I was able to extend the ram just over 1/2 inch according to my calipers. Connections were secure and didn't leak. All measurements are to specificationThis seems to be a Chinese knockoff of a nationally known brand of these similar tools that cost 10x as much. If you need to lift or push something metal away from something else also made of metal that's already got a 2 inch gap big enough to slip this in, then I guess this is your tool of choice. That's got to be one very specific application that I've never come across as a residential contractor. I've got several hydraulic bottle jacks that get used from time to time lifting things to work on and on my experience you always get wood cribbing and soft ground even if its has pavement on it that will compress maybe a 1/2" or so before you get any lift. Now this little ram is going to run out of travel way before you start to lift in any application I can think of. Definitely want to get a different model with several inches of travel if you want to lift anything in my real world experience. With that said, it seems to do everything the listing description says it will do and all the measurements seem accurate. There is spring retraction in this model. To all those reviewers who mention lifting and leveling a mobile home, or lifting a vehicle, that is humorous indeed. You need a regular bottle jack or a floor jack for any such application just to deal with compression of the ground and various cribbing materials. This 1/2" travel ram simply isnt the tool for that application. Those applications require a hydraulic bottle jack or air lift bag system with 6" or more per lift to make any kind of lift with wood cribbing in between the metal jack and concrete blocks used in that application. If not, some one is going to get seriously hurt.
