Nillkin Bluetooth 5.0 Foldable Keyboard with Trackpad & Numpad Black

If you’re looking for a reliable, well built, portable Bluetooth keyboard, but perhaps don’t want the case-integrated ones, this is your keyboard. Packs down to almost nothing, almost as small as my iPhone. Has a great keypad that can also double as a mouse, which I found quite nice to use. I don’t often need a keyboard when traveling with my iPad, but since this has such a great battery life and is easy to pack, I find myself bringing it along and pulling it out more often. I would buy this again in a heartbeat if mine Broke, although I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Note: can I add that I personally like the reposnse of the keys. I’m sure someone who knows keyboards better would maybe disagree with me, but I like the click, the spacing and the response time of the Bluetooth connection.

Excellent choice! Unit is compact, and folds nicely. Holds charge for a long time (haven't run out yet, but I'm an occasional use). Love connecting to an iPad for traveling when you don't want to lug a laptop. The 10-key is nicely sized and also acts as a mouse. Great for those who really use the 10-key.

Looks nice and seems well made. I find the instructions to be a bit lacking. The keyboard has quite a few shortcuts and functions that aren't on the instructions and I had to look up. But all the shortcuts are nice. It comes with a nice storage bag to hold it while folded up. The keyboard stays closed with magnets and the mechanics that let it fold seem well made. I also find it to be a good size for me, I have smaller hands. I can see someone with bigger hands finding this keyboard to be a little small but its size makes it very portable and convenient. I had a few issues getting it to work with my steamdeck, which is a Linux based OS. Once the keyboard is actually paired you have to tell it to connect with (Fn+C) C being the pairing key. I only had to do that once though. My next issue was the mouse pad wasn't functioning correctly (it was acting like a number pad even with NumLock off) and the way I fixed that was by switching between connected devices. It can connect to up to 3 devices (I dont use this but cool its an option) and I had to switch to "device 1" which is nothing, then back to "device 2" which is my steamdeck. So definitely there is a bit of a learning period with this keyboard. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the difficulty I had getting it to work properly but overall I do really like this keyboard.

This is easy to set up and connect to. It is perfect for anyone that travels and still needs to work. I fold it up and put it in my work bag. It is responsive and good quality.

Almost perfect. I've used a lot of folding keyboards, and they've all been pretty terrible. Most of the time, the issue is with keys just not working. This one has keys that all work. If you're a touch-typist, you'll know how important that is. Will it hold up? I'll update this at the end of the year to find out, since most electronics these days degrade in a matter of months. I don't have high hopes, but we'll see. The big complaint is that the the "CTRL" key has a FN button that brings up the on-screen keyboard when you press SHIFT and FN. If you're trying to use CTRL+ALT+DEL, or CTRL+SHIFT+DEL, or anything that involves CTRL and DEL, you're just not doing it on this keyboard. That makes it a little less useful for my use case, which is technical work. The only feature this is really missing, is the ability to use the USB C charging port to connect to your computer. This is a BLUETOOTH ONLY keyboard. For $60-ish (in April 2026; I'm sure the future might make it cost more if our dementia patient in Chief does more stupid stuff to the global trade) it's a bit steep. I would have hoped for at least USB-C connectivity because I can't exactly use this when booting up a computer to its BIOS screen. Or anythign that doesn't support bluetooth. Because it's so portable, I carry it everywhere. If it had this functionality, I could see me using it a lot more, instead of just the times I need to type. The typing experience is good btw. I can type touch without issue. Much better than other mini keyboards and it doesn't have a weird layout. The numpad functionality works, but I don't use it. hard to use because it's like a little touch ... pad thing. The touch pad itself works GREAT for a cursor, and zooms smoothly, and scrolls smoothly. Not like the jank "levels" zoom that some other devices have. The touch pad here is actually GOOD, and has a solid "CLICK" feel. Nice. What would make this better? - USB C connection. - a way to remap FN keys so I could move the "on screen keyboard" to CAPS lock, which I never use. CTRL and DEL is used for so many applications, it makes this frustrating to use on some systems like Windows. And perhaps... - a way to make it stiff, so I can hold it like a controller - a left click or right click button on the top, like a trigger. I find myself scrolling with my thumb and wanting to click it like a remote. Maybe there's way to integrate that without compromising integrity? Maybe that's better for another keyboard design entirely. Ultimate verdict: - great it all you need is typing. if you are doing programming or work that requires use of CTRL and DEL, you are SOL. But typing emails is great, so is web browsing. - durability unknown. I'll report back later.

Initially this keyboard was great - compact, light, and a good travel accessory. However after less than two months buttons are starting to fail. My brother ordered this keyboard a few weeks before me and, because of his recommendation, I ordered mine. The same keys starting dying on his keyboard first! It started with the "A" key and is spreading to the keys on the left side. The fact both our keyboards have the same parts failing points to an overall defective product and not just a one off. Stay away!

I ordered mini foldable keyboards from Amazon. I compared to them all, and while I did not love the touchpad functionality on this keyboard (it is very hard to scroll), it has the best build quality BY FAR. Other keyboards, I tried, felt very cheap, at times I felt like I was using a cheap piece of plastic. The Nillkin, for all the things that I would do differently, is sturdy, snaps open and stays flat (somewhat of a tension locking mechanism) even on uneven surfaces, looks great, and has a great feel when typing. It is also not loud. Other foldable keyboards I tried lacked all of these features. The ends flopped open, and if i put them on my lap to type the ends would fold upwards with minimal pressure (no locking mechanism at all). i wish Nillkin would separate the number keys from keyboard shortcuts like brightness and volume, so we didnt have to lock the Fn tab to switch between them, but otherwise 10/10 compared to other foldable keyboards offered on amazon.
