I needed a standard 10.5 X 9 hood vent filter for my apartment. I found one with exact measurements, But this one had a charcoal filter and faster delivery. I wasn't sure if it would fit because the charcoal one is not 10.5 X 9, it's 10.5 X 8.75, and has a super thick edge, compared to the old one, because of the charcoal layerb but it fit! The latch was a little snug, fitting over the thick edge, but it worked out nicely! and the 9inch vs 8.75 wasn't an issue at all.

I have an older hood vent so I was happy to find this on amazon. It arrived quickly and was easy to put in place. It keeps the air clean while cooking things like bacon and keeps the noise level down with the fan. The item was also a great price. I price shopped and found amazon had the best price for 2 of these.
