We needed something that would stay closed because our puppy WAS always pulling things out. You get 3, and all 3 are well designed and sleek. The compact size and the open/close button on the top is great. My puppy just walks passed it now. I have 1 in each bathroom and the 3rd one in my /bedroom/office area. Easy to pop open for humans. I have no complaints. I can see this being used for kitchen scraps, outside on the porch, or even to take with you to the beach/picnic/ to quickly throw away trash. Maybe even one for the car to keep trash off the car floor. I'm ordering more. You can't go wrong with these. The lid opens with a slight touch of the button.
