I'm not a coffee 'snob' but I can't stomach the taste of most cheap instants which have a gritty-gravy-bitterness about them that is just not palatable, for me, at all. This AMAZON Gold is quite the opposite. I've had it ordered via monthly subs for a while now and, even if I had the extra cash for the main "big brands" I don't think I'd change now. This coffee has a genuinely smooth taste and true aroma which is just about the right strength and has very little bitterness. I tend to give all my cups a boost with 2 tsps of coffee per mug and levelling out with more milk. That method with this Amazon Gold coffee makes for a perfectly enjoyable coffee drink and I am very happy to continue buying and drinking it. My plea/advice to Amazon - make this in a decaffeinated version too, please!!!! Then I (and everyone else) could carry on drinking it well into the evening without having to switch brands. ;)

It's OK, I'd give it 3.5 Stars. It's somewhat bland, but it's suitable for the first morning cup. Slightly bitter aftertaste. As for 'own brand' versions, I find the Lidl version more to my taste.

Pleasantly surprised by this coffee. The price was good and it has a nice taste. If you want a strong coffee then instant is not the best but as far as instant and decaf this is actually amongst the best I have had. Couple that with the better price than most name brands and the quick delivery with prime I feel I'm on to a winner and will keep this as a repeat order from now on.

A weak cup of coffee with a slightly bitter after taste. Cheap as chips though.

I'm a simple gal. I just like a strong, sweet, milky coffee (I use 'barista style' oat milk - MOMA is great!) I only have maybe two mugs a day as my main 'go to' hot drink is loose leaf green tea.As my preferred freeze dried brand was getting SO expensive I thought I'd give this a go. I've just ordered my 4th jar. Is it exactly like the more expensive brand? No - but get the quantities right and it's not far off. I don't notice a bitterness at all which maaaaay be because I have have it sweet and milky 🤷. I decant it into the old tins and keep airtight.Give it a go. You may be pleasantly surprised. I pay about a quarter of the price of my old choice. Worst case is you keep it for emergencies.

Disappointing Taste and Aroma, but Has PotentialUnfortunately, this coffee didn’t meet my expectations in terms of taste or aroma. The flavour is extremely weak and lacks the richness I was hoping for. While the price is reasonable, there are definitely better options available in the same range.What stood out most was the lack of aroma – which, for me, plays a big role in setting the mood and energizing the start of my day. Instead of feeling uplifted, the smell gave off a dull, almost depressing vibe – like a wet and windy morning.That said, I do see some potential. It does provide a bit of wakefulness, which is a plus, but the aftertaste and lack of satisfaction hold it back. With some improvement in strength and aroma, this could be a much better quality product.I wouldn’t buy again unfortunately.
