Excellent cleaning product for our pool
The media could not be loaded. We love this pool vacuum. It cleans our whole pool. Charges fast, cleans bottom and scrubs the sides and waterline. I got a kick watching it climb the walls the first couple of times. It is very easy to use out of the box. Customer service with Aiper is top notch.

Better than corded for most of the summer
This works good enough to keep my corded put away for the rest of the year. Combine this thing with a Betta Skimmer bot and your summer pool maintenance just got a whole lot easier. The micro fiber filter basket is good enough to get most fine silt, pollen, and dead algae off the bottom of the floor no problem. I will only use my corded robot for pool openings when you need a longer runtime maybe, but after that this Aiper is perfect

Unacceptably ineffective
The media could not be loaded. My pool deck is mostly grass with overhanging trees, so my pool requires almost daily vacuuming. The video shows what was left after the scuba ran until its low battery shutoff (2.5 hours later or so) when running on walls and floor mode. Stairs are difficult, but the ineffectiveness extends well beyond the stairs.

A Huge Upgrade Over Corded
I have a higher-end Dolphin Nautilus vacuum that I thought was great--this Aiper is better, and here’s why:First and foremost, setting up the Dolphin was always a chore. I had to plug in the charger, plug in the vacuum, untangle the cord, and try to remember not to trip on it as it was cleaning. The cord has already failed once, so it’s a risk going forward. The Aiper has none of that: no cord to trip over or fail, and after charging, I just throw it in the water.Second, the filter basket is bigger and easier to clean. My old vacuum’s filter had six parts that needed to be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. It was kind of a pain. The Aiper has a single large basket that’s plenty big enough for a week’s worth of debris (and probably a lot more).Third is efficiency. My old vacuum roamed the floor and got stuck on stairs like a drunken sailor stumbling out of a bar. It got the job done, but not like the Aiper. The Aiper is methodical and calculating. Even in my kidney bean-shaped pool, it efficiently and systematically cleaned and then shut off, conserving power. I watched a time-lapse on my security cameras, and it did a really good job getting everything--and never once got stuck like my old vacuum.Fourth is simplicity. This vacuum has no app, and I love that. I’m always worried about buying expensive stuff that relies on an app. What happens if the app goes away or crashes? There’s no need for an app for this device. Just select the cleaning mode and chuck it in the pool. My old vacuum had an app with pretty much just an on/off button that I only used to re-clean when it failed the first time. I’m happy this Aiper is app-free!Fifth is convenience. I travel a lot, and one of the things I dread the most is coming home to a pool that’s a complete mess. The Aiper has an eco mode that cleans every 48 hours until it runs out of battery. It can easily last a week or more. That means I just need someone to charge it and dump out the basket once a week while I’m gone. That’s way easier than teaching someone how to disassemble and clean the old vacuum. Anyone can maintain the Aiper.Honestly, I love this vacuum. My biggest worry is that anything that lives in water is bound to fail sooner or later. I’ve read some not-so-great experiences people have had with customer service, so I’m dreading the day this thing dies. That said, it has a two-year warranty, and if it lasts, it will be well worth the price. My old Dolphin still works, but I can’t imagine using it again unless the Aiper dies. I hope it’s well-built and reliable. It sure looks like it is.I would strongly recommend giving this Aiper a shot over the competition. I just wish I had made the switch sooner.

Does a Great Job Cleaning the Entire Pool
This Aiper vacuum does a much better job of cleaning the pool than our previous vacuum. Our previous vacuum would miss about 20% of the floor and about 40% of the walls. This Aiper vacuum cleans about 95% of the floor and 80% of the walls. Our pool has 7 sides, so, when cleaning the floor, the vacuum doesn’t run in a neat pattern as shown in the manual, but it manages to clean the entire floor in a random pattern in a little less than 2 hours. It runs in an orderly pattern when cleaning the walls, but, since our pool is an irregular shape which includes an outside corner, it bypasses the entire length of one of the sides, and misses some other areas when going around the corners. When cleaning the walls, the vacuum goes all the way up to the water line. This Aiper Scuba vacuum is very easy to handle. It’s relatively light compared to our previous vacuum and is easy to drop in and lift out of the pool. The single, large debris container is very easy to remove, clean and replace. This vacuum has 4 different running modes. It can be set to run the floor cycle and wall cycles separately, or it can be set to clean both the floor and walls. It also has an “eco mode” which will clean the floor for 45 minutes every other day for a week if the vacuum is just left in the pool. This mode will be very handy for when we go on vacation.Overall, the Aiper Scuba S1 is a fantastic pool vacuum at a great price.
