I used it on my faucet which originally had been gold. I have the silver leaf which made the faucet color a bright. shiny nickel. I'm not crazy about the color so going to order pewter and try that. Love it **Q: Would this product work to change a fireplace glass door frame from shiny brass to a brushed/antiqued brass look?** A: Cover the glass part with cardboard and tape and get spray paint for heated items like headers on a car at auto store or barbque . spray any color you want. They probably havr primed one too to use first . **Q: Can this be used outdoors?** A: I don't know. I would test a small area first. Will source better price next time as I won’t be needing it as quickly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by K***I on September 18, 2023* I bought the European Gold, and it’s a bit more bronze for my taste, but the final product still looks nice! I repurposed a gold lid jar a college roommate gave me (super cheap gold paint) and loved the jar but wanted it to look classed-up. The rub & buff is very easy to use, a little goes a long way. It dries VERY FAST and starts to chunk together if applying more on a partially dry piece, so I was really worried it wouldn’t look good. I think the final piece ended great, no weird smudges or anything. Easy to wash off residue from hands, and it’s such a quick project to have decorations match.
