Perfect Fit for my Bulky IPhone Wallet!
This is my third attempt to buy a cell phone holder for my car and WoooHoooo, I finally found the best one!!! This attaches to the vent and does keep my phone cool while I have it plugged in- iPhones have a tendency to become hot when plugged in for long periods of time.I was concerned this wouldn’t work since I keep my phone in a Case with card holders so it’s quite thick when opened and the phone is exposed.... but it works wonderfully! I’m so glad I found this, the adjustable side “prongs” are adjustable to fit any width of phone, and keeps a decent amount of tension to keep phone in place.

Charging cable doesn't fit
You cannot charge a Galaxy S9 Plus when it is in the holder, cable doesn't fit through the small gap in the bottom ledge.UPDATE 10/3/2018After posting this comment, I was immediately contacted by the vendor and offered a replacement holder (NTH Cell Phone Holder with Wireless Charger) that included wireless charging capability. The no-cost replacement arrived and it works beautifully.To summarize, I had a complaint, it was addressed immediately, successfully and at not cost to me. Very satisfied customer.

Great phone holder
Liked how stable it was when connected to my 2007 Acura MDX vents. Articulation is a great feature which makes it so that you can place it on the passenger vent but turn the phone towards the driver as not to block the driver side vent. Could use an extension feature on the bottom bracket to account for the location of volume and power button access. I have a Nexus 6P and it blocks the volume down button. Great product though.

It works -
I use this in my work truck because I wanted a small cheap cell phone holder. It works only if you have a very slim cell phone. I tried to use my otter box and it would not fit. For the price it’s great.

weak gold to vent and gravity lock is hit or miss
Probably work for smaller phones. Would cause my galaxy s7, or wife’s. iPhone 8 with case to fall out. Sometimes out of the grasp and sometimes the whole contraption would fall out of the vent because the latch to attach it to the vent is not secure enough

Very sturdy vent mount
I really liked this phone holder but I have a really thick 3 part case on my phone so it was a little to thick for this holder. I had to get a different holder and so missed this one. I gave it to my son and he really liked it. Holds the phone securely and easy one hand use. In the future if I get a thinner case I will definitely buy me another one.

Still (kinda) mountable on short vents
My car's air vents are short/low-profile, and it ended up that the vent mount would not fit with both of its wings. So I ended up chopping off the side without the hook extender, and it still mounts secure enough. I guess the manufacturer should consider producing a version where it would mount with one wing that's shorter, but 5/5 because it still works for me.
